বড় ঠাকুর করিয়াছিলেন, বীরমণির মৃত্যুতে সে পদ শূন্য হইয়া পড়িল। রাজধরও সিংহাসন পাইলেন না। এদিকে লক্ষ্মণমাণিক্য তনয় (যাঁহাকে সমসের গাজি রাজারূপে প্রচার করিয়াছিলেন) দুর্গামণি রাজপদের অভিলাষী হইতে লাগিলেন, এসব দেখিয়া শুনিয়া রাজ্ঞী দুর্গামণিকে যৌবরাজ্য দিতে কৃতনিশ্চয় হইলেন।
১১৯৫ ত্রিপুরাব্দে (১৭৮৫ খৃষ্টাব্দে) রাজধর কর্ত্তৃপক্ষের অনুমোদনে রাজধর মাণিক্য রূপে ঘোষিত হইয়া সিংহাসন আরোহণ করেন। তখন দুর্গামণিকে যৌবরাজ্য দেওয়া হয়। রাজ্ঞী জাহ্নবী মহাদেবী দুই বৎসরের অধিক কাল রাজ্য শাসন করিয়া বিশ্রাম গ্রহণ করিলেন। পরমায়ু ফুরাইয়া আসিতেছে
