Babu Nibaran Chandra is a Higher Agricultural Scholar of the Sibpur Engineering College and treats of the subject in the book under notice with the knowledge and the skill of an expert. He has within a short compass condensed the principal facts in relation to Agricultural Chemistry and with scientific method aud precision given the properties, the uses and the characteristics of the leading elements with their special application to Agriculture. We have no hesitation in recommending the book to those who take an interest or are engaged in agricultural pursuits but who have neither the leisure nor opportunities for an elaborate and exhaustive study.
