তাঁহারদের পরাক্রম লোকের উপর অতিদৃঢ় হইল। অপর ভারতবর্ষ ও মিসর ও গ্রীক ও কালদিয়ের ধর্ম্ম যে ব্রাহ্মণেরদের দ্বারা প্রচার হয় ইহার প্রচুর প্রমাণ আছে। ঐ যাজকেরদের নিত্য এই অভিপ্রায় ছিল যে ধর্ম্মবিষয় সকল গোপনে থাকে এবং ঐ গোপনীয় বিষয় লোকেরদিগকে ব্যাখ্যাকরণের অধিকার তাঁহারদেরি হয় এবং তৎপ্রযুক্ত লোকেরদের মধ্যে তাঁহারদের প্রাধান্য থাকে। অতএব পুরোহিত ভিন্ন সামান্য লোকেরদের মধ্যে অযুক্ত ধর্ম্ম ও অজ্ঞানতা এবং যাজকেরদের অসীম ক্ষমতার কারণ এই লিখিত হইল।
মিসর দেশহইতে গ্রীক দেশে আগত লোকেরদের সংস্থাপন হওনান্তর ঐ দেশ ক্রমে২ অসভ্যতা হইতে মুক্ত হয় কিন্তু তৎকালাবধি ত্রোজানের যুদ্ধপর্য্যন্ত যে সকল ঘটনা তাহা অত্যন্ত অস্পষ্ট। তথাপি তৎকালীন বিবরণের মধ্যে এক যুদ্ধ যাত্রা অতিদেদীপ্যমান আছে অ
