➢ የሦ ভারতবর্ষ { চিত্রশালার, রক্ষিত হইয়াছে। মিষ্টার হাভেল ঐ যুক্টির যে বর্শন প্রদান করিয়াছেন, সে মহিষাসুরমর্দিনী দেবী-মূৰ্ত্তি এই কাঙ্গালী জাতিরই আরাধ্যা । পৃথিবীর আর কোনও প্রদেশে দেবীর ঐ মূৰ্ত্তি সম্পূজিত হয় বলিয়। প্রমাণ পাওয়া যায় না । ভারতবর্ষের মধ্যেও এক বঙ্গদেশেই ঐ মূৰ্ত্তির পূজা হইয়া থাকে । সুতরাং শিল্পের হিসাবেই বলুন, আর ধর্শ্বের হিসাবেই বলুন, সেই দূর অতীতকালে বঙ্গদেশের প্রভাব যে যবদ্বীপে বিস্তৃত হইয়াছিল, এই দেবী মূৰ্ত্তি দ্বারাই তাহ প্রতিপন্ন হইতেছে। বোরোবোদার মন্দির-গাৱে যে সকল কারুকার্য্য দৃষ্ট হয়, যে সকল প্রতিমূৰ্ত্তি তাহার ভিত্তি-প্রাচীর-গাত্রে খোদিত রহিয়াছে দেখিতে পাওয়া যায়, তন্মধ্যে বাঙ্গালীর তিত্বের বহু নিদর্শন বিদ্যমান আছে। বঙ্গদেশে ঘে আকৃতির পোতসমূহ প্রচলিত, যে প্রকার পোতের সাহায্যে বাঙ্গলী নাবিকগণ সমুদ্রপথে গতিবিধি করিতে অত্যন্ত ছিল, তৎসমুদায়ের নানা প্রতিকৃতি সেই মন্দির-গাত্রে BBBB BBBS BBBS BBB B BBBSBSBB BBBBB BB BBB B BBD শিল্পিগণের শিল্প-নৈপুণ্য প্রকাশ পাইঘাছিল, মন্দিরের কারুকার্যের প্রতি যিনিই লক্ষ্য করিবেন, তিনিই তাহা বুঝিতে পরিবেন । " কেবল সিংহলদ্বীপে বা যব-দ্বীপে BBBS BB SDDSBBBBS BBBS BBBS BBBBS BBBBS HBBSBBS কাম্বোডিয়ায়, বাঙ্গালীর প্রধান্যের ও শিল্প-নৈপুণ্যের নিদর্শন আজিও বিদ্যমান আছে । BBBB BBBS BB g BBBSBBSBBBSBBBSBBB BB BBBS BBB BBBB গিয়াছিল,—নেপাল হইতে তিব্বতে ও চীনে ঐ সকল শিল্প প্রচারিত হয়। ধাতু BBBBS BBSBSBBB BBBB BBBB BBBB BBBB BBBBB BB BBS BB প্রভৃতি দেশে প্রচারিত হইয়াছিল । এ বিষয়ে দুই এক জন বাঙ্গালী-শিল্পীর কৃতিত্বকাহিনী গুনিতে না পাওয়া যায়, এমন নহে। নবম শতাব্দীর মধ্যভাগে বরেন্দ্ৰ-ভূমের অধিবাসী প্রসিদ্ধ শিল্পী ধীমান এবং তাত র পুত্র বিটপাল নেপালে গমন করিয়া যে শিল্পBB BBS BDS uBB BBS BBB BB BBB BBBB BBB BBBS BBB S BBBBS চীনে, জাপানে যে সকল বুদ্ধ-মূৰ্ত্তি দেখিতে পাওয় যায়, তাহার অধিকাংশই বঙ্গদেশীয়
