College for the past twenty-nine years and it was only a few months ago that he assured the charge of the Principalship of the College. He was a man of head and heart and his capacity for work for the benefit of students is well-known to yΟι all. His knowledge of rules and regulations and all matters connected with the University was encyclopaedie, He took a broad view of every problem that presented itself to the University. And his sober views had all along been of great value to Senate, Syndicate and to various University Jodies of which he was a prominent member. His absence from the Uuiversity and B. N. College will be keenly felt. His wide experience, honesty of purpose and affable manners endeared him to all with whom he came in contact. He will always be remembercd by his colleagues for his sound views on educational problems. In him the University had lost a very useful member who was always ready to devote his time to the cause of the University and the student community had lost an efficient and sympathetic teacher.
