By command of His Excellency the Viceroy and Governor-General-in-Council, this certificate is presented in the name of His Most Gracious Majesty King George W., Emperor of India, on the occasion of His Majesty's Coronation Durbar at Delhi, to Kumar lenendra Narain Roy, son of Raja Brojendra Narain Roy in recognition of his public services as Honourary Presidency Magistrate, a Municipal Commissioner and Plesident and Ex-officio Vice-Precident of the listrict Charitable Society. Dated, the 12th Decembor 19 i. গবমেণ্টের নিকট রাজা দীনেল নারায়ণের প্রভূত প্ৰতিপত্তি ছিল এবং নানারূপে গবমেণ্ট তাহাকে সম্মানিত করিয়াছিলেন । ১৮১৪ খৃষ্টাব্দে যখন তিনি রাজোপাধি লাভ করেন নাই, কেবল “কুমার” মাত্র, সেই সময়েও গবমেণ্ট তাহাকে অস্ত্ৰ-আইন হইতে অব্যাহতি প্ৰদান করিয়াছিলেন । তখন তিনজন সশস্ত্র প্রহরী রাখিবার অধিকার তাহাকে দেওয়া হইয়াছিল ; পরে “রাজা” হইলে তাহাকে ৮ জন সশস্ত্র প্রহরী রাখিবার অধিকার দেওয়া হয়। রাজা দীনেন্দ্ৰনারায়ণ রায় ১৯১৪ খৃষ্টাব্দ হইতে ১৯১৫ খৃষ্টাব্দ পৰ্য্যন্ত বঙ্গীয় ব্যবস্থাপক সভার সদস্য ছিলেন। ১৮৮২ খৃষ্টাব্দ হইতে ১৯১৪ খৃষ্টাব্দ পৰ্য্যন্ত তিনি কলিকাতা কর্পোরেশনের নির্বাচিত কমিশনার এবং ১৯১৫ খৃষ্টাব্দে উহার মনোনীত কমিশনার ছিলেন।
