The solution of the problem has so far baffled the efforts of the leaders of both the communities and it will be no small presumption on my part to attempt it from my humble position. The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that all questions of safeguarding the rights of a particular nation, sect or community should be scrupulously avoided by the (Government. The Government must not show any favour and preferential treatment to any community whether majority or minority as God never shows any preferential treatment towards any one in His creation. In the eyes of God there is no Brahmin or Sudra. no rich or poor, no white or black, no Hindu or Mahomedan, no Sikhs or Rajputs, no Burmese or Sindhis, no Christian or Jew and no touchables or untouchables. There must be one guiding principle which should be applicable to all irrespective of religion, caste, colour or creed-same facilities of education in all branches, same facilities for religious worship, same facilities for rich and poor, men and women, white and black and even to the loyals and disloyals. If God 'can tolerate sinners and criminals in His world, it will be worthwhile for the Government to emulate that example and good and impartial treatment to all,
