RYR ংশ-পরিচয় ৩৪ বৎসর মধ্যে জেলার সমস্ত সন্ত্রান্ত ও ধনী জমিদারগণের তিনি Retained Legal Adviser 2&tifs (eir 583 the CS its Sist Rivers Thompson v5tai( frCr (2 < f(5N \g frof. উকীলগণের মধ্যে শ্রেষ্ঠ বলিয়া প্ৰসিদ্ধি লাভ করিলেন । এই সময়ে তিনি কৃষ্ণনগর মহারাজার, রাণাঘাট পালচৌধুরী বাবুদের ও অনেক নীল কুঠীয়াল জমিদারগণের কাজ পাইতে লাগিলেন ও র্তাহার অর্থ সমাগম প্রচুর রূপে হইতে লাগিল। ১৮৬৬ খ্ৰীষ্টাব্দে তিনি নদীয়া জেলার গভর্ণমেণ্ট প্লীডার ও পাবলিক প্ৰসিকিউটার নিযুক্ত হন এবং মৃত্যুকাল পৰ্য্যন্ত ঐ কাজে নিযুক্ত ছিলেন। কিরূপ দক্ষতার সহিত তিনি ঐ সব কাজ করিয়াছিলেন, তৎকালীন জজ, ম্যাজিষ্ট্রেট ও অন্যান্য উচ্চ কৰ্ম্মচারীবৃন্দ ও পদস্থ ব্যক্তিগণ র্তাহার যোগ্যতা বিষয়ে তাহাকে কিরূপ বিশেষ শ্রদ্ধা করিতেন তাহ নিম্নলিখিত দুই একটী পত্ৰ হইতে জানা যাইবে । Sir Rivers Thomson's letters to Ram Chandra :- Belvedere March 28th, 87.
