Banerjea for his 1byal and unfailing help in all difficulties and for his valuable advice on all troublesome questions.' "Mr. Paterson had a very high opinion of the worthy Vice-Chairman and commended him at the first meeting of the New Board by dwelling at length on his good attributes, his vast experience and his admirable public spirit and self-sacrifice.
