Press file containing editorials, letters to the editor, news stories, etc., hopefully from your congressman's district h. Reprints of materials useful for your information and for handouts to Congressmen's offices. 2. Plan your schedule with some thought to building locations (the numerous office building are large!). 3. Punctuality within five to ten minutes of the time set is expected. Should you be delayed, a prompt explanation (preferably by phone in advance of the appointment but as soon thereafter as possible) will be more warmly received than a later personal appearance. You can reschedule at the time of your phone call. ASK FIRST to see the Congressman or Senator about the situation in East Pakistan and about the Saxbe-Church (Gallagher) Amendment to the Foreign Aid bill; if he is unable to see you, TIEN ASK to speak to the PERSON WHO HANDLES THE CONGRESSMAN'S LEGISLATION ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS, 5. Obtain the name (do not be shy to ask for spelling) and position of the person you see and include this information in your report (questionnaire) to us so that we can build continuity. 6.
