Court for "waging war against Pakistan" and other offences, a government statement said yesterday. The trial will begin tomorrow and will be held behind closed doors, the statement said. The spokesman added: "The accused will be given proper opportunity to prepare his defense and will be provided with all facilities permitted in law, including engaging counsel of his own choice, provided such counsel is a citizen of Pakistan". World Reactions: United Nations, N. Y., August 10, Secretary General Thant warned today that the fate of the East Pakistan leader, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, would "inevitably have repercussions outside the borders of Pakistan". Mr. Thant said he had been receiving expressions of concern about Sheik Mujib, party chief of the Awami League, from many governments every day. Mr. Thant’s statements on Sheik Mujib said that the Secretary General "feels that it is an extremely sensitive and delicate matter, which falls within the competence of the judicial system of a member state, in this case Pakistan." "It is also a matter of extraordinary interest and concern in many quarters, from the humanitarian as well as the political point of view." Mr. Thant said that there was a general feeling that the hope of restoring peace and normality in the region was remote unless some kind of accommodation is reached." Washington, August 10, eleven Senators urged that the United States Government convey to Pakistan their "profound hope" that compassion would be shown to Sheik Mujib. Senator Fred R. Harris. Democrat of Oklahoma, said that the death of Sheik Mujib, who commands the loyalty of millions of East Pakistanis, could contribute "to a further rise in tensions at a time when war could break out at any moment” between India and Pakistan. Washington, August 11, William Rogers, U. S. Secretary of State, has warned Pakistan that "any summary action" in the trial of East Pakistan leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will
