বাংলাদেশ গেজেট, অতিরিন্ধ জানুয়ারী ৩, ১৯৮৯ השל PROTOCOL At the time of signature of the Convention between the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the Government of the French Republic for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, the undersigned have agreed that the following provisions shall form an integral part of the Convention : 1. In respect of paragraph 3 of Article 12, payments received as a consideration for technical services, including studies or surveys of a scientific, geological or technical nature, or for engineering contracts including blue prints related thereto, or for consultant or supervisory services shall be deemed not to be payments received as a consideration for information concerning industrial, commercial or scientific experience. 2. In respect of Article 30, the provisions of the Convention relating to the elimination of double taxation, the mutual agreement procedure and the exchange of information shall continue to apply, after the 31st of December of the calendar year for the end of which the termination has been notified, to the assessment of income covered by the present Convention according to Article 30 paragraph 2 (H) and (b).
