RR 8 মীর কাসিম the Armenian inhabitants of Calcutta, I will give the sum of seven lacks of rupees. The distribution of the sums allotted to the English, Gentoo, Moor, and other inhabitants of Calcutta, shall be left to Admiral Watson, Colonel Clive, Roger Drake, William Watts, James Kilpatrick, and Richard Becher Esquires, to be disposed of by them, to whom they think proper.-VIII.- Within the ditch, which surrounds the borders of Calcutta, are tracts of land belonging to several Zemindars : besides these, I will grant to the English Company Coo yards without the ditch-IX. All the land lying south of Calcutta, as far as Culpee, shall be under the Zemindary of the English Company : and all the offices for these parts shall be under their jurisdiction.
