গঙ্গাকিশোর ভট্টাচাধ্য - ישג নানা সংবাদ ও সরল বাংলায় স্থানীয় লোকের রুচিকর নাম কথা থাকিত এবং উহার সভাক মাসিক মূল্য দুই টাকা ছিল । ইহা ছাড়া, সমকালীন সাময়িক-পত্র পাঠে অারও জানা যায়, ১৮১৮ খ্ৰীষ্টাব্দে এই ‘বাঙ্গাল গেজেটি” পত্রে সহমরণ-বিষয়ে বৎসরে প্রকাশিত রামমোহন রায়ের ‘প্ৰবৰ্ত্তক ও নিবৰ্ত্তকের সম্বাদ' পুনমুদ্রিত হইয়াছিল। বিলাতের ‘এশিয়াটিক স্ত্রনাল পত্রের ১৮১৯ খ্ৰীষ্টাব্যের জুলাই সংখ্যায় ( পু. ৬৯ )

This additional publicity which the labours of Rammohun Roy will thus obtain, cannot fail to produce beneficial consequences ; and we are happy to find, that the conductors of the Bengalee Journal have determined to give insertion of articles that are likely to prove more advantageous to their countrymen,..., তখন “বাঙালী-পরিচালিত” অপর কোন বাংলা সংবাদপত্র ছিল না, সুতরাং উদ্ধৃত অংশে ‘বাঙ্গাল গেজেটি'র কথাই বলা হইয়াছে । ‘বাঙ্গাল গেজেটি বেশী দিন স্থায়ী হয় নাই। উহা বৎসরখানেক চলিয়া বন্ধ হইয়া যায় । । গ্রন্থপ্রকালের কার্য্য ' রচিত গ্রন্থ গঙ্গাকিশোরের রচিত কয়েকখানি পুস্তকের সন্ধান পাওয়া গিয়াছে । সংক্ষিপ্ত মস্তয়া সহ এই সকল গ্রন্থের একটি তালিকা নিয়ে দেওয়া হইল ।
