Dear Sir, I have been directed by the Council of the City ("ollege to communicate to you the following resolution passel at their necting held on the 31st. ultimo:— "The Council of the City College wishes to tender its warımcest and most cordial thanks to Dr. (uuru Das Biancerje for his kindness in undertaking to deliver a course of lectures on Hindu law in the College and for the remarkable ability and success with which he has discharged his honorary and self-imposed work."
