From the political point of view the authorities, it appears, were reluctant toignor parapsychology if there was any likelihood that the American military establishment was conducting successful experiments in U.S.A.” (Page-887)
আর এক পরামনােবিজ্ঞানী Hans Hoper তাঁর “Tuth About Esp” বইটিতে জানান, “রাশিয়ায় অন্তত ৮টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পুরাে সময়ের জন্য প্রয়ােজনীয় সমস্ত কর্মী নিয়ােগ করে পরামনােবিদ্যার গবেষণা কেন্দ্র খােলা হয়েছে। আরও কথা হলাে, ওখানে গবেষকদের কাজ-কর্মের ওপর কোনওরকম বাধানিষেধ আরােপ করা হয় না (সরকারি তরফ থেকে) এবং স্বাধীনভাবে যে কোনও কিছু ছেপে প্রকাশ করতে দেওয়া হয়, এমন কী তা মার্কসবাদকে সমর্থন করুক বা না করুক।” (পৃষ্ঠা-১৮)

ঐ বইয়েই Holzer বলেছেন, “E.S.P is no way interferes with their political philosophy; dialectical Marxism may be opposed to the soul in man, but it seems quite compatible with telepathy and communication between minds ....Although the Russions cling to the nation that there is a physical basis for E.S.P. faculties. (ibid, Page 40)
বইগুলাের এই লেখাগুলি পুরােপুরি সত্যি হলে শুধুমাত্র এইটুকুই ধরে নেওয়া যায় রাশিয়াতেও এক সময় পরামনােবিদ্যা নিয়ে গবেষণা চলেছে। তার মানে কিন্তু এই নয় যে, পরামনােবিদ্যাকে রাশিয়ার বিজ্ঞান অ্যাকাডেমি স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছে। এই গবেষণার ফলে পরামনােবিদ্যার যথার্থতা বা অসারতা দুইয়ের যে কোনটিই প্রমাণ হতে পারে।
