The following is the system of examination adopted, and the standard of the Senior English Scholarships referred to in Rule 2. Sets of questions on the various branches of study will be prepared under the direction of the Council of Education, who will likewise fix within a reasonable time beforehand, the days on which the examinations shall be held. The Students shall be a sembled in a room without books, papers or references of any kind. They shall not be allowed to communicate with each other during the examination, and on that account shall be placed at a proper distance from euch other. They will be required to answer the questions and to write the essays without any assistance whatever, and to ensure this, one of the Members of the Council of Education will remain in the room, and superintend the whole examinution. Е o The Council of Education will fix an uniform standard of value for each question according to its importance, a perfectly correct and complete answer will obtain the full number of marks attached to the question, in imperfect answer will obtain a part only of the full number, in proportion ግል হে শ্বেই বিষয়ে ইমতিহীন দিতে হয় তাহার প্রত্যেক বিষয়ে নির্দিষ্ট চিহ্নের অনু্যন অন্ধ অংশ যাহারা পায় | ७अडचना अकन क४ाकाङकी विडीझ cडामोडूक इइ বেক । ৪ । ইমতিস্থানের সময়ে কৃতকাৰ্য্য কর্মাকাঙ্গিক্ষরদের গুণের তারতম্য বুৰিয়। তাছার সম্প্রদায়ের প্রথম দ্বিতীয়াদি স্থানে ভর্বি হইবেক । ৫ । যাহার কৌন্সেলের ফর্দে নাম লেখাষ্টতে অঃকাল্পকা রাখে ভাছারদের ইমতিহানে প্রতিযোগিতা করাণের অনুমতি পাইবার পূৰ্ব্বে কোং ৫২ টাকা ফিস দিতে হইবেক । # 曝 ৬ । ইমতিহীন বৎসরে দুর্গ পূজার ছুটীর কএক দিবস পূৰ্ব্বে টোন হালে হইবেক তাহার সম্বাদ উপযুক্তমতে দিন থাকিতে দেওয়া যাইপেক । ৭ । যে কোন ছাত্র কৌন্সেলের ফর্দেতে আপন নাম লেখাইরার যোগ্যতার প্রমাণ না দেয় সে তিনবারের অধিক ইমতিহান দিতে পারিাবেক না এz৭ সেই প্রত্যেকবারের পূৰ্ব্বে তাহার উক্ত ফিস দিতে চইলেক । ৮ । যে কৰ্মাকাচিকর নাম ফর্দেতে লেখা যায় সেই জম উচ্চ শ্রেণী পাইবার অভিপ্রায়ে পুনৰ্ব্বার ইমতিহীন দিতে অনুমতি পাইবেক না । ৬ ৯ । গবৰ্ণমেন্টের ও বিশেষ বিদ্যালয়ের সকল কর্ম - কাজকী সপষ্টরূপে জ্ঞানিবেক যে তাতারদের নাম ফর্দেতে লিখিত হইলেই তাহারা নিতান্ত কম পাইরেঞ্চ এমত নহে কেননা বিদ্যাতে নিপুণতা এবং সদাচারিতা ভিন্ন অন্যান্য গুণেরও আবশ্যক হুইবেক । ১০ । ইমতিষ্ঠানের এই ২ নিয়ম হ ইলেক এপ্ল", প্রথম ইঙ্গরেঙ্গী বৃত্ত্বির যে হার ২ বিধিতে লেখা আছে তাহ এই ৷ বিদ্যার মান শাখার বিষয়ে নানা প্রশ্ন বিদ্যাধ্যাপনের কোন্সেলের হুকুমানুসারে প্রস্তুত হইবেক এz৭ গে দিবসে ইমতিহীন হইবেক তাঙ্গ। উপযুক্ত সময় থাকিতে তাহারদের দ্বা প্ৰা নিরূপণ হইবেক । ছাঞ্জের এক কুঠরীর মধ্যে একত্র হইবেক তাহারদের কোন কেতধি বা কা গঞ্জ কি যাহাতে কিছু অবস্থাত হক্টতে পারে এমত কিছু থাকিবেক না ইমতিহানের সময়ে তাহারদের পরসপার কোন কথা বা লিখনপঠন হইবেন না এবং সেই নিমিত্তে তাহার উপযুক্তমতে দূরে পৃথক হইয়া বসিবেক । কোন সাহায্যবিনা তাহারদের সকল জিজ্ঞাসার উত্তর দিতে হইবেক এবং এসে লিখিতে হুইবেক এথে তাহারদের কোন সাহায্য না হয় এভদর্থে বিদ্যাপাপনের কোন্সেলের এক জন কামরার মধ্যে থাকিবেন এবং সমস্তু ইমতিহানের কর্তৃজ্ঞ করিবেন। যদি কোন কপট কম হয় বা তাহার উদেTাগ হয় তলে অপরাধি ব্যক্তি ইমতিহীনহইতে বহিস্কৃত হইবেক এবং কৌন্সেলের সাহেবেরদের রিপোর্টের মধ্যে তাহার নাম লেখা যাইবেক না এবং সেই নিমিত্তে সে সরকারী কর্মে নিযুক্ত হইবার অযোগ্য হুইবেক। প্রত্যেক প্রশ্নের গুরুতর অনুসারে বিদ্যাধ্যাপনের ক্টেন্সেল তাছার মূল্যের একি প্রকার হার নিরূপণ করি- , বেন । ষদ্যপি সেই প্রশ্নের ঠিক এবং সম্পূর্ণ উত্তর দেওয়া যায় তবে সেই প্রশ্নের যত চিক নিরূপণ আছে } তাহার সম্পূর্ণ সংখn কৃতকাৰ্য্য ছাত্র পাইবেক কিন্তু যদি তাহার অসম্পূর্ণ উত্তর দেওয়া যায় তবে যে পৰ্য্যন্ত ভাহ to its approximation to correctness and complete- fos a જૂર્ણ হয় তাহার হিসাব করিয়া সম্পূর্ণ চিহ্নের গেৰণমেন্ট গেজেট। ১৮৪৪। ৯ সেপ্টেম্বর )
