And it is hereby enacted, that after the passing of this Act in any such suit or action as last aforesaid brought in any Zillah Court or other local Court as aforesaid the defendant shall state in his answer all the matters which by the last preceding section the defendant in any suit or action brought in any of the Courts of Judicature established by Iler Majesty's Charter is required to give uotice of in writing. X. And it is hereby enacted, that when any publisher or other person shall within the said Territories before or at the time of the passing of this Act but after the passing of the said Act of Parliament 3 and 4 Wm. 4 C. 85 havo projected, conducted and carried on, or shall hereafter project, conduct or carry on, or be the proprietor of any Encyclopedia, Iteview, Magazine, Periodical work or work published in a series of Iłooks or parts, or any book whatsoever, and shall have employed or shall employ any persons to compose the same," or any Volumes. Parts, Iossays, Articles, or portions thereof for publication in, or as part of the same, and such work, Volumes, l’arts, 12ssays, Articles, or portions shall have been, or shall hereafter be composed under such employment, on the terms that the Copyright therein shall belong to such Propriotor, l’rojector, l’ublisher or Conductor, and paid for by such Proprietor, Projector, Publisher or Conductor, the Copyright in every such Jencyclopaedia, Iteview, Magazine, Periodical work and work published in a series of Books or Parts, and in cvery Volume, l'art, Essay, Article and portion so composed and paid for shall be the property of such l’roprietor, Projector, Publisher or Conductor, who shall enjoy the same rights as if he were the actual author thereof and shall have such term of Jopyright therein as is given to the authors of Books by this Act, except only that in the case of Essays, Articles or Portions forming part of and first published in Iteviews, Magazines, or other l’eriodical works of a like nature after the term of twenty-eight years from the first publication thereof respectively the right of publishing the same in a separate form shall revert to the author for the remainder of the term given by this Aet. Provided always, that during the term of twentyeight years the said Proprietor, Projector, Pub. lisher, or Conductor shall not publish any such Essay, Article, or portion separately or singly without the consent previously obtained of the author thereof or his Assigns: Provided also, that nothing herein contained shall alter or affect the right of any person who shall have been or shall be so cm বাস্তবিক না মিলে এমত কোন পুৰুক আপনার জওয়াব সাব্যস্ত করণার্থ প্রমাণস্বরূপ দিতে পারিবেন না ইতি । ৯ ধারা । এবং ইহাতে হুকুম হইল যে এই আইন জারীহওনের পর পূৰ্ব্বোক্তমতে যে কোন নালিশ ৰ৷ মোকদ্দম। পূৰ্ব্বোক্ত কোন জিলায় আদালতে বা স্থানীয় আদালতে উপস্থিত হয় তাহাতে আসামী উক্ত ৮ ধারার বিধানক্রমে শ্ৰীশ্ৰীমতী মহারাণীর চার্টর দ্বারা স্থাপিত কোন আদালতে উপস্থিত নালিশ ল1 মোকদ্দমায় যে সকল বিষয় আপনার একেলfনামাতে লিখিয় দিত্তে হয় সেই সকল বিষয় আপনার ভর ওয়াবে লিখিৰেন ইতি । ১• ধারা । এবং ইহাতে হুকুম হইল যে কোন গ্রন্থপ্রকাশক অথবা অন্য ব্যক্তি উক্ত রাজ্যের মধ্যে এই আইন জারীহ ওড়নর পূৰ্ব্বে বা সময়ে কিন্তু চতুর্থ উলিয়মের তৃতীয় ও চতুর্থ বৎসরীয় অষ্টিনের ৮৫ অধ্যায়ের অrফুট ভারী ত ওনের পরে মদি কোন এনসাইক্লোপিডিয়। অথবা রিলিউ কি মাগাজিন বা কোন সাময়িক গ্রন্থ অথবা বিশেষ খণ্ড বা ভাগের শ্রেণী:ক্রমে প্রকাশিতথ্য কোন পুস্তক অথবা কোন প্রকার পুপ্তক কল্পনা করিয়াছেন বা সম্পাদন করিয়াছেন কি চালাইয়াছেন অথবা ই তার পর কল্পনা কিম্ব সম্পাদন করেন বা চাল’ন অথবা উক্ত প্রকার কোন পুস্থকের মালিক হন এবং তাহ1 রচিবার জন্যে কি তাহার মধ্যে অথবা তাহার অRশের ন্যায় প্রকাশহ ওনের নিমিত্ত্বে কোন বালম অথবা অRশ কি এসে ব1 আর্টিকেল অথবা তাহার থও রচিবার জন্যে কোন ব্যক্তিরদিগকে নিযুক্ত করিয়া থাকেন বা করেন এবং সেই গ্রস্ত বা ব1লম কি অংশ বা এসে অথবা আর্টকেল কিয় তাহার এগু সেই বন্দোবস্তঅনুসারে এই নিয়মক্রমে রচনা ত ইয়া:ছ লা উল্লর কালে রচন: ভয় যে তাকার মধ্যে গ্রন্থস্থত সেই অধ্যক্ষ ল: কল্পনাকারক বা প্রকাশক কি সম্পাদকের থাকিলে ক এবথ সেই অধ্যক্ষ বা কল্পনাকারক বা প্রকাশক কি সম্পাদক তাহার মূল্য দিলেন তলে ঐ রূপ প্রত্যেক এনসাইক্লোপিডিয়া ও রিবিউ ও মাগাজিন ও সাময়িক গ্রন্তে এল৭ খণ্ড বা ভাণের শ্রেণী:ক্রমে প্রকাশিত পুস্তকে এক সেই রূপ রচিত ও মূল দে ওয়া প্রত্যেক বালম ও ভাগ ও এসে ও আর্টিকেল ও অশ্বশেতে গ্রন্থস্বতল ঐ অধিকারী ও কম্পনাকারক ও প্রকাশক ও সম্পাদকের সম্পত্ত্বি হইবেক এস৭ সেই ব্যক্তি ঐ২ গ্রন্থের রচক হইলে মে ২ স্থত পীইতেন সেই ২ স্বতল ভোগ করিলেন এবং এই আইনের দ্বারা পুস্তুকরসকদিগকে গ্রন্থস্বতের মে মিয়াদ দেওয়া গিয়াতে সেই মিরাদ তাহার থাকিবেক । কিন্তু রিবিউ ও মাগাজিন ও সেই প্রকার অন্যান্য সাময়িক গ্রন্থের অন্তঃপাতি ও তাকার মধ্যে প্রথমবার প্রকাশিত এসে ও আর্টিকেল অথবা ভাগের হিময়ে এই হুকুম হইল যে তাহ প্রথমবার প্রকাশচওনঅপধি আটাইশ বৎসর মিয়াদের পর তাহ৷ স্বতন্ত্ররূপে প্রকাশকরণের স্বতল এই আইনের নিরূপিত মিয়াদের অবশিষ্ট কালপর্য্যস্ত রচকের প্রতি পুনৰ্ব্বার BKB DBBB S BBB BB BBBB BB BBSSBB BBS সর মিয়াদের মধ্যে ঐ পুস্তকের অধ্যক্ষ বা কম্পনাকারক কি প্রকাশক বা সম্পাদক রচক কিম্বা তাকার নিরূপিত ব্যক্তির অনুমতি ন পাইয়া ঐ এসে অথবা আর্টিকেল কি অRশ আলাহিদা বা এক ২ করিয়1 প্রকাশ করিতে পারিবেন না । কিন্তু জানা কৰ্ত্তব্য সে যে ব্যক্তি পূৰ্ব্বোক্ৰমতে কোন বিষয় রচনা করিবার নিমিত্তে নিযুক্ত হইয়াছেন दा उख्त कोप्ल ग्यूक्त हन् ८न देखि शनि कान সপষ্ট বা অসপষ্ট বন্দোবস্তের দ্বারা আপনার রচিত আলি ployed as aforesaid to publish any such his com- | হিদারপে প্রকাশ করিতে আপনার সেইরূপ অধিকার [Government Gazette, 30th March, 1847.]
