From the Officiating Secretary to the Sudder Board of Revenue, to the Commissioner of Rewenue for the Division of The Sudder Board of Revenue have determined, with the sanction of Government, to revive the Quarterly Indexes of Correspondence, which used formerly to be submitted by Commissioners to the Board, and were discontinued by a Resolution of the Statements Committee (Circular Order, 27th July, 1830). 2nd. These Indexes, if prepared and submitted with due promptitude and regularity, are calculated to furnish the superior authority with the most efficient ineans of controlling the Revenue administration, of checking irregularities nnd correcting errors, and of ascertaining the state of business and the mode in which it is conducted throughout the several Districts of the Provinces. That they were not formerly found effective to this end is attributable partly to defects in the form of their preparation, partly, and principally, to the irregular and dilatory manner in which, in too many instances, they were furnished to the Board. 3rd. The heavy press of business in most of the Commissioners' Offices afforded at that time some excuse for irregularity and delay. But such is not the case now, and the Board expect that the following Rules for the preparation and submission of the Indexes will be carefully and punctually attended to. 4th. The Index is to be prepared in theannexedd form. The correspondence of each District is to be | separately entered, and the name of the District is to appear at the top of each page. (Government Gassue. 22d June, 1847.] সদর বোর্ড রেবিনিউর সরকুলের অর্ডর । ৭ নম্বর । {} অমুক এলাকার রাজস্বের যুক্ত কমিস্যনর সাহেবের প্রতি সঙ্গর বোর্ড রেবিনিউর জীযুত একটি৭ সেক্রেটারী সাহেবের পত্ৰ । পত্রের যে ত্রৈমাসিক ইণ্ডেক্স কমিস্যনর সাহেবের পুৰ্ব্বে সদর বোর্ডে পাঠাইভেন কিম্ভ ১৮৩১ সালের ২৭ জুলাই তারিখের সরকুrলর অর্ডরে কৈফিযভের কমিটির নিৰ্দ্ধারণক্ৰমে রহিত হইয়াছিল সেই ইণ্ডেক্স সদর বোর্ড রেবিলিউর সাহেবের গবর্ণমেন্টের অনুমতিক্রমে পুনরায় প্রস্তুত করাইতে স্থির করিয়াছেন । ২ । যদি এই ইণ্ডেক্স অতিশীঘ্র ও নিয়মমত্তে প্রস্তুত ছষ্টয়া পাঠান যায় তবে কৰ্বজ্ঞকারি কার্য্যকারক সাহেবেরদের রাজস্বের কর্ম শাসন করণের সদুপাষ হইবেক এব^ তাহার বেদাড়া কর্ম নিবারণ ও ভুল সংশোধন করিতে পাfরবেন এবং বাঙ্গঙ্গাপ্রভূতি দেশের নান৷ জিলা ব্যাপির রাজয়ের কার্য্য যে অবস্থায় আছে ও যেরপে নিৰ্ব্বাহ হইতেছে তাহা জানিতে পরিবেন ইছার পূৰ্ব্বে ঐ ইণ্ডেকুসের দ্বারা তাহ সফল না হগুনের কারণ এই যে তাহ" উপযুক্তমতে প্রস্তুত হইয়াছিল না এবং বিশেষতঃ তাছ বেঙ্গাড়ামতে ও আভি বিলম্বে বোর্ডে পাঠান যাইভ । ৩। তৎসমযে প্রায় সকল কমিস্যনর সাহেবের সিfরশৃভার কার্ষ্যের অতিভিড় ছিল এবং তাহ ঐ বেদাড়া ও বিলম্বেব একপ্রকার কারণ কহ যাইতে পারে। কিন্তু এক্ষণে তক্রপ,নাট অতএব বোর্ডের সাহেবেরা অপেঙ্ক! করেন যে ঐ ইণ্ডেক্স প্রজ্জত করণের ও তাছা প্রেরণ করণের বিষয়ে নীচের লিখিত নিয়ম অতি মনোযোগপূর্বক ও নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে প্রতিপালন হয় । , ৪ । ঐ ইণ্ডেক্স নীচের লিঙ্গিত্ত ঐৰভ झोप्यरू । 2iटङारू छिठनाङ्ग निर्थबकीझन् बज्रङ्ग कहिग्न। ষষ্ঠীতে লেখা যাইবেক এবং জিলার নাম প্রক্তি পৃষ্ঠার উপরি ভাগে নির্দিষ্ট থাকিবেক ।
