FORT WILLIAM, HOME DEPARTMENT, LEGISLATIVE, THE 20tri JANUARY, 1847. R. s.lution.—The following Act is brought up before the Legislative Council this day—the Honourable the President of the Council of India in Council being desirous that no time should be lost in passing the Act, Resolved, that the Rule re 1uiring a previous publication of two months or three months before the passing of any Act of the Government of India be suspended in respect to the following proposed Act, and that it be reconsidered at the first Legislative Meeting after the 10th proximo: FORT WILLIAM, HOME DEPARTMENT, LEGISLATIVE, THE 20тн JлNUАвҮ, 1847. The following Draft of a proposed Act was read in Council for the first time on the 20th January 1 S47 ; Act No. of 1847. An Act to declare the meaning and extent of certain acords in Act V. of 1840. Whereas by Seotion IV. of Act V. of 1840, it was amongst other things provided that the said Act should not extend to any declaration or affirmation made in any of Her Majesty's Courts of Justice, and doubts have arisen whether the words “Her Majesty's Courts of Justice” mean and extend to the Courts of the Justices of tho Peace : It is hereby declared and enacted, that the said words “IIer Majesty's Courts of Justice,” in the said Act shall be deemed not to have meant nor [Government Gazette, 26th January, 1847.] | | | \ --سےپی ۔ আইনের মুসাবিদ । ८यां# डेलिग्नश । দেশীয় ডিপার্টমেন্ট । লেজিসলেটিব । ইঙ্গরেজী ১৮৪৭ সাল ২৪ জানুজারি । নিৰ্দ্ধারণ । নীচের লিখিত আইন ব্যবস্থাপক কৌন্সেলে অদ্য উপস্থিত করা গেল। ভারতবষের প্রযুক্ত অনরবিল প্রসীডেন্ট সাহেব হজুর কৌন্সেলে ইচ্ছা করেন যে এই অাইন জারী করণ বিষয়ে বিলম্ব না হয় অতএব নিৰ্দ্ধারণ হইল যে ভারতবর্ষের গবর্ণমেন্টের সকল আইন প্রথমবার পাঠ হওনের তারিখের পর দুই কি তিন মাসের পর দ্বিতীয়বার পাঠ হওনের নিমিত্তে উপস্থিত করণের মো বিধান আছে সেই বিধান নীচের লিখিত প্রস্তাবিত আইনের বিষয়ে স্থগিত হয় এবং আগামি মাসের ১ • তারিখের পর ব্যবস্থাপক কৌন্সেলের প্রথম যে বৈঠক হয় তাহাতে তাহার পুনৰ্ব্বার বিবেচনা করা যায় । ফোর্ট উলিয়ম । দেশীয় ডিপার্টমেন্ট । লেজিসলেটিব । ইঙ্গরেজী ১৮৪৭ সাল ২০ জানুআরি। প্রস্তাবিত আইনের নীচের লিখিত মুসাবিদ ইঙ্গরেঙ্গী ১৮৪৭ সালের ২ ৩ জানুআরি তারিখে হজুর কৌন্সেলে প্রথমবার পাঠ করা গেল । हेक्रtद्भजो २v8१ नाल-ञांख्छ । ১৮৪০ সালের ৫ আইনের কোন ২ কথfর অর্থ ও অভিপ্রায়ের সীমা প্রকাশ করণের আইন । o যেহেতুক ১৮৪৭ সালের ৫ আইনের ৪ ধারার দ্বার। অন্যান্য বিষয়ের মধ্যে ইহাও নির্দিষ্ট হইয়াছিল যে খ্ৰীশ্ৰীমতী মহারাণীর কোন আদালতে করা সুকৃতি অথবা প্রভিজ্ঞার বিষয়ে ঐ আইন খাটিবেক না এবং যেহেতুক “প্রীমতী মহারাধীর আদালভ” এই কথাতে ভূক্টিস অফ দি পাসের আদালত বঝায় কি না,এই বিষয়ে সন্দেহ হইয়াছে । অতএৱ ইছাভে প্রকাশ ও হুকুম হইল যে “শ্ৰীশ্ৰীমতী प्रहjझोोङ्ग ” উক্ত আইনের এই কথা জুটিস অফ 岱 o. বুঝিবার এবং ভাহাতে খাটিবার
