( ७१e ) rection and breadth of such streets and thoroughfares, and the situations and dimensions of such open spaces to form squares or circles as aforesaid, which in their opinion shall be the most suitable for carrying intą effect the abovementioned objects, keeping in view the salubrity of the suid Town, the convenience of communication within the same, and the economy with which the said improvements may be carried into execution, together with estimates of the expence of the necessary works and estimates of the probable value of the houses, buildings and grounds, which it will be necessary for the said Commissioners to purchase for these purposes, and the said Commissioners shall select from the plans which shall be so furnished to them the one which they, or a majority of them, shall consider the best and most eligible, and shall transmit to the Secretary to the Government of Bengal, the said plan and the resolution of the Commissioners thereupon for the consideration of the said Governor of Dungal, and upon the said Governor signifying through the said Secretary by writing, signed by the said Secretary, his approval of such plan, the said Commissioners shall proceed with all convenient speed to carry the same into execution so far as the funds at their disposal, and the circumstances under which the works are to be carried into execution will allow, in conjunction with the other improvements contemplated by this Act ; and in case the said Governor shall signify his disapproval of the plan so submitted to him, the said Commissioners shall cause another plan to be drawn by the same or any other competent Surveyor, which plan shall in like manner he submitted by the said Commissioners to the said Governor, and so from time to time until such plan shall be finally approved of by the said Governor, and as soon as may be after such final approval of the said Governor shall be intimated to the aaid Commissioners as aforesaid, the said Commissioners shall proceed to oarry the said plan so approved into execution with all such conveuient speed as aforesaid. And whereas it is essentially necessary to the salubrity of the said Town to make provi sion for the effectual sewerage and drainage of the $岛的QB 是 It is enacted, that as soon as conveniently may be after the passing of this Act the said Commissioners shall cause their said Surveyor to make [Government Gazette, 21st December, 1847.] নকশার মধ্যে পূৰ্ব্বোক্ত অভিপ্রায়সকল সিদ্ধ করণার্থ उँोइड्सएनम्न प्रुिध्याम्न थे ज्ञाखुl e ८थाला'•रभङ्ग ठोक्रिङ দিগের ও তাহার প্রশস্ততার এবং পূৰ্ব্বোক্ত চতুষ্ণোঙ্গ বা গোলাকৃতি চক প্রস্তুত করণার্থ ষে শূন্য স্থানের প্রয়োজন হয় তাহার স্থিত্তির স্থান ও পরিমাণের নিদর্শন থাকিবেক এবং ঐ কমিসানরেরা ঐ শহরের স্বাস্থ্য এবং তাহার মধ্যে গমনাগমনের সুগম এবং ঐ পারিপাট্যের নির্মাহ করণের যে পরিমিত ব্যয় হইতে পারে এই সকলে রাখিয়া ঐ পাগুলেখ্য প্রস্তুত করিবেন। এবং ঐ আৰশ্যক কর্মের শরচের এবণ এই নিমিৰে উক্ত কমিস্যনরেরদের যে ঘর ও 'এমরিৎ ও জুমি খরাঁদ করিবার আবশ্যক হইবেক তাহার আন্দাজী মুল্যের বরাওদের ফর্দ প্রস্তুত হইবেক । এবং যে২ নকশা ঐ কমিস্যনরদিগকে এইরূপে দেওয়া যায় তাহার মধ্যে যে নক্শ তাহার। किश्व1 ॐांशद्भ८मह ट्प्रशिका-५भग यTखिक ठानTां८कनच्क डेडम e উপযুক্ত বোধ করেন তাহ তাছার পসন্দ করিবেন এব^ ঐ নক্শা ও তদ্বিষয়ে কমিস্যনরেরদের নিদ্ধারণ বাঙ্গল। দেশের ক্রযুত গবরনব সাহেবের বিবেচনার নিমিত্ত্বে বাঙ্গলা দেশের গবর্ণমেন্টের সেক্রেটারী সাহেবের নিকটে পাঠাইবেন এবং উক্ত ীিযুত গবরনর সাহেৰ উক্ত সেক্রেটারীর সঙ্গীকরী এক লিপির দ্বারা উক্ত সেক্রেটারীর মারফs. ঐ নক্শাতে আপনার সমতি জানাইলে উক্ত কমিস্যনরেরা যথাসাধ্য শীঘু আপনারদের হাতে থাক সংস্থান বুঝিয় এবং এই আইনের কম্পিত অন্যান্য পারিপাট্য কর্মের একি সময়ে নিৰ্ব্বাহ করণের প্রতিবন্ধক না হয় ইহ বুঝিয়। ঐ কর্ম যে পর্যন্ত নিৰ্ব্বাহ হষ্টতে পারে সেষ্টপর্য্যন্ত তাহ নিৰ্ব্বাহ করিবেন । এবং উক্ত ক্রযুত গবরনর সাহেবের নিকটে প্রস্তাবিত নকশাতে যদি তিনি আপনার অসমতি জানান তবে ঐ কমিস্যনরেরা সেই সরবেয়র অথবা অন্য কোন উপযুক্ত সরবেয়রের দ্বার। অন্য নকশা প্রস্থত করাইবেন এবং সেই নকশা সেক্টরূপে ঐ কমিসানরের ঐ খ্ৰীযুত গবরনয় সাহেবের নিকটে প্রস্তাব করিবেন এবং যাবৎ ঐরূপ কোন নক্শ ঐ শ্ৰীযুত গবরমর সাহেবের দ্বারা মঞ্জুব না হয় তাবৎ সময়ে ২ ঐরূপ অন্যান্য নকশা করিবেন এবং উক্ত কমিস্যনরদিগকে উক্ত খ্ৰীযুত গবরনর সাহেবের চুড়ান্ত সমতি জানান গেলে পর যত শীঘ্ৰ সাধ্য উক্ত কমিসানরের ঐ মঞ্জুর হওয। নক্শাঅনুসারে কর্ম করিবেন ইতি । ১২ ধারা। এবং ইহাতে হুকুম হইল যে উক্ত নকুশ ঐ প্রযুত গবরনর সাহেবের নিকটে সেক্টরূপে প্রস্তাব কষ্টলে এব^ তাহার স্বারা মঞ্জুর হইলে পর ঐ কমিস্যনরের অমুক সালেৰ অমুক নম্বরী আইনের বিধির অনুসারে ঐ নকশাঅনুসারে কার্যাকরণার্থ যে ঘর ও এমার ও ভূমি. খন্ত্রীয়করণের আবশ্যক হয় তাহ খরীদ করিবেন এবং ঐ খৱীদ সম্পন্ন হইলে খ্ৰীযুত গবর্নর সাহেবকে আর জিজ্ঞাসা না করিয়া আপনারদের বিশেষ সরবেয়রকে উক্ত কর্ম নিৰ্ব্বাহকরণের হুকুম দিবেন ইতি । ১৩ ধারা। এবং যেহেতুক উক্ত শহরের স্বাস্থ্যের জন্যে তাহার মধ্যে কর্মণী নরদম ও মোরী করণের উপায় করা নিতান্ত আবশ্যক । অতএব ইহাতে হুকুম হুইল যে এই बाहॆन ক্তারী হওনের পর যন্ত শীঘ্ৰ হইতে পারে ঐ কমিসানরের ঐ সর বেয়রকে সমস্ত শহরের অতি মনোযোগপূর্বক জরিপ
