( १२ v ) believe, either from information given by any { কোন আমলাৰ অন্য ব্যক্তির এজছবিক্রমে (সেক্ট এজছবি Abkaree Officer or other person, to be taken down in writing, or from his own knowledge, or from the proceedings in any other case, that any spirituous or fermented Liquors or intoxicating drugs, liable to confiscation under this Act, are kept or concenled ın any place, the Collector, by warrant undel his hand, may empower any Abkaree Officer above the rank of Jemadar of Peons, by day or by night, but always in the presence of a Consti ble or other Officer of the Polade, to enter into every such place, where any such liquors or drugs are suspected to be kept or concealed, and to seize ind cai 1 y nway such liquors or drugs, and, in case of resistance, to break open any door, and to force and remove any other obstacle to such entry, search, seizure or removal, as aforesaid, and to arrest and detain the owner or occupant of the premises, with all parties whom he suspects to be concerned in the unlawful keeping or concealing of such liquors or drugs, whom he shall find on the premises I’rovided, that where there is ground to suspect that such houors or drugs are unlawfully concealed in any zenana, the Officer, charged with the execution of the warrant, shall follow, as closely as muy be, the 1ules for the seizure of property so concealed, adopted by the Supreme Court of Judicature at Fort William XVIII All Constables, and other Ministen ul Officers of the Peace are required to help the Abkaree Officers in the due execution of this Act upon notice given, or request made by any such Abkaree Officer XIY Whenever any Abkaree Officer, duly authorized under this Act, shall arrest any person, or shull seize any spirituous or fermented Liquois or intoxicating drugs, or shall enter any house or shop for the purpose of searching for such illicit articles, he shall carry the person arrested, with the illicit articles seized, with all convenient dispatch, to the Collector, und shall, within twentyfour hours thereaftel, make a full report to the Collector of all the particulars of such alrust, sti zure or search XX Every person, who shall maliciously give false information, against any purson for being engaged in the unlicensed sale of spirituous or fermented Liquors or Intoxicating drug", or for having in his possession, or carrying or in respect of there bcıng ın anv house or shop nny spırıtuous or fermented Liquors or intoxicating drugs in contravention of this Act, shall be liable to a fine, not cxi elding five hundred Rupees XXI lovery person, who shall obstruct or molest any Abkanee Officer, or any person acting in aid of such Officer, in the due execution of this লিখিয়া রাখিতে হুইবেক) অথবা আপনাৰ বোধক্রমে কি অন্য কোন মোকদ্দমার কার্য্যক্রমে ইহা বিশ্বাস কবণেব মাতবব কাবণ থাকে যে এই আইনানুসাবে জদেৰ যোগ্য কোন মদিবা বা গাঙ্গাধৰ শৰবি কি মাদক দ্রব্য কোন স্থানে গচ্ছিত আছে বা লুককায়িত আছে তবে কালেকটৰ সাহেব আপনাব দস্তথৎকব ওয়াবটেব স্বাব পেষাদাবদের জমাদাব অপেক্ষা উচ্চ পদস্থ আবকাৰীথ কোন আমলাকে এই ক্ষমতা দিতে পাবেন যে তিনি দিনে বা ৰাত্রিতে কিন্তু নিযত ইউৰোপীয় কোন সাবঞ্জন বা পোলীসেব অন্য কোন অমিলার সাক্ষাতে যে धण्डाक इॉप्न जे शदाद द यांनक मुदा शक्रिठ वा লুককায়িত থাকনেব বিষয়ে শোবে হয় সেই স্থানেৰ মধ্যে প্রবেশ কবেন এবং সেই শবাব অথবা মাদক नुद7 ক্রোক কবেন এবং লইয়া যান । এবং প্রতিবন্ধক হইলে কোন দব ওযfঙ্গা ভাঙ্গেন এবং পূৰ্ব্বোক্তমতে ঐ প্রবেশ বা তালাশ কি ক্রোক বা স্থানান্তর কবণেব যে কোন বাধা থাকে তাহ বলপূৰ্ব্বক উঠাইয়া দেন এবং ঐ স্থানেৰ মালিক অথবা সেই স্থানে বাসকাবি ব্যক্তিকে এর ৭ অন্য যে সকল ব্যক্রি বেআইনীমতে ঐ শরাব বা মাদক দ্রব্য গচ্ছিত কৰণ বা লুকাইয়া বাখণেব কার্য্যে লিপ্ত থাকমেব বিষষে তাহাব শোবে হয় এল৭ সেই বাটাব মধ্যে পাওযা যায় তাহাবদিগকে গ্রেস্তাব কবেন ও আইকাইম্বা ৰাখেন। কিন্তু জানা কৰ্ত্তব্য যে ঐ শৰাব অথবা মাদক দ্রব্য বেআইনীমতে কোন অন্তঃপুবে লুককারিত থাকনের বিষয়ে শোবে কবণেব কাবণ থাকি লে যে অমিলাব প্রতি ঐ ওয়াৰণ্ট জাবী কবণেব ভাব আছে তিনি সেইরূপে লুককায়িত সম্পৰি ক্রোক কৰশার্থে ফোর্ট উলিযমেব সুপ্রিম কোর্টেব যে২ বিধি আছে সাধ্যপৰ্য্যন্ত সেই ২ বিধির অনুসাবে কার্য্য কৰিবেন ইতি । t;
