( ১২১ ) ther liable, if an affray or breach of the peace shall happen in consequence of his resistance, on conviction of the same before a competent tribunal, to such punishment as is prescribed by law for cases of affay and breach of the place, in addition to the penalty above prescribed for resistance of process XXII Any Abkaree Officer, who shall delay carrying to the Collector any person arrested or any, Illicit articles seized under this Act, or who shall neglect to report the particulais of an arrest, seizure or search, within twenty four hours there after, shall bo liable to a hue, not exceeding two hundred Rupees XXIII Any Abkalea Officer, who sliall vexatiously and unnecessarily seize the goods or (huttels of any person, on the pretence of seizing nı senrchıng for ıllıcıt spırıtuous or formented Liquors or intoxicating drugs, or who shall vexati ously and unnecessarily arrest any person, or commit any other excess, not requiled for the execu tion of his duty, shall be liable to a fine, not exceeding five hundred Rupees XXIV Any Officer employed in the Abkalee l)epartment, who shall unlawfully 1 elease or conmive at the escape of any person arrested under this Act, or connive at the salt of spirituous or fermented Liquors or intoxicating drugs without license, or by any liuensed Di alur vonti al y to the terms of su la lucenst, or a t un a manner incon sistent with his duty, for the purpose of Cnabling iny person to do any thing, who reby any of the provisions of this Act Inay be evad d or broken, or the Abkalee Revcnut dott ludod, sh ill be liable to a fine, not exceeding sive hundred Rupees XYV Any Officer, employed in the Abkaree 1)ep urtinent, who shall ask or take any giatuity, not authorized by any Law or Order of Government or of the Board of Customs, Salt and Opium, in conside ration of doing, or of omitting to do any act un hi8 vflicial d'upacity, nnd any pel son, who shall oflur a bi ibu to any such Officer, in ol der to induce such Officer to act in a manner inconsistent with his duty shall be liable, for every such offence, to a find, not exceeding five hundred Rupees XXVI Whenewer any goods or chattels shall be seized by an Abkarud Officer, as liable to con fiscation under this Act, such seizure shall upon information, exhibited by order of the Collectol, be heard and determin d in a summary way, by any Justice of the l’eace for the Town of Calcut ta, nominated by the Governon of Bengal to try offenders under this Act, and such Justice shall cause the persons to whom such goods and chattels belong, to be summoned to appear before him, and upon their appearance or default shall examine into the cause of the seizure thereof, and give Judgment, and if such judgment shall be for confiscation of the goods or chattels seized, shall issue his warrant to the Collector for the sale or [Government Gazette, 20th March, 1849] cड शर्मि ¢कांना माँक्र कि ध्णfस्टुिख्छण झग्न छद्वह cन है ব্যক্তির অপরাধ ক্ষমত"প্রাপ্ত আদালতে সাব্যস্তু কইলে সেই ব্যক্তি হুকুয়েব প্রতিবন্ধকতাৰ নির্দিষ্ট গুনাহগাষ্ঠীৰ অভিবিক্র দাঙ্গা এবং শান্তিভঙ্গেৰ অপৰাধেৰ বিষয়ে আটনে যে দণ্ড নিকপণ অাছে সেই দণ্ডেৰ যোগ্য হইবেক ইভি । ১ ১ খাব । এষ্ট আইনক্রমে গ্রেস্তাবহ ওয়৷ কোন ব্যক্রিকে অথবা ক্রোকহওষা বিনানুমতিৰ কোন দ্রব্য কশেক্টৰ সাহেবেৰ নিকটে লইয়। যাইতে যদি আবকাৰীৰ কোন অমিল বিলম্ব কবেন অথবা গ্রেফুীব কি ক্রোক বা তালাশী কবণেব পয চব্বিশ ঘটাব মধ্যে তাছাৰ বুহাম্ভেব রিপোর্ট কবিতে ত্রুটি করেন তবে সেই ব্যক্তি ১ ও ০২ টাকাব অনধিক জৰীমানাব যোগ্য হইবেন ইতি । ১৩ ধাব। আবকাৰীব যে কোন অমিল। লিনানুমতিৰ মদিবা বা গাঙ্গাধব শবাব কি মাদক দ্রব্য ক্রোক অথবা তালাশী কবর্ণেব ছলে বৈবক্রিরূপে এব^aঅমাবশ্যকমতে কোন ব্যক্তিৰ জিনিস কি দ্রব্য ক্রোক কবেন অথবা কোন ব্যক্তিকে ফ্লেশজনকরপে এবং অনাবশ্যকমতে গ্রেস্তাব কৰেন অথবা আপনাব কর্তব্য কার্য্যেৰ নিমিত্ৰে যে কৰ্মেৰ অবিশ্যক না থাকে এমত কোন অত্য1চাবের কর্ম কৰেন সেই ব্যক্তি ৫০ ০২ টাকাব অনধিক জধীমানাব যোগ্য হইবেন ইতি । २8 ४ांदा । श्रादकांदीद निदि"डाग्न बिशूख ८ग (कॉन অমিলা এই আইনক্রমে গ্রেফুবি হওয়া কোন ব্যক্তিকে বেআইনীমতে খালাস কবেন অথবা তাহার পলtষনেব বিষয় জানিবা শুনিয়া চুপ কবিয়া থাকেন কি পাট্টা লিন মদিবা বা গাঞ্জাববী শবাব কি মাদক দ্রব্যেৰ বিক্রয়েৰ বিষয় অথবা পাট্টার নিয়মেব নিবন্ধে কোন পাট্টাপ্রাপ্ত ব্যবসায়িব বিক্ৰয কৰrণব বিষয় জানিষা শ্বমিষ!
