SSMSSSMSSSMSSSMSSSMSSSMSSSMSS TTSTTS NOTIFICATION. No. 49%M.— The 18th November 1897.--Whereas a notification No. 3898M., dated the 26th July 1897, was published at page 182, Part IB of the Calcutta Gazette of the 28th idem, declaring the Lieutenant-Governor's intention to sauction, under section 86 of the Bengal Municipal Act, III of 1884, as amended by Bengal Acts IV of 1894 and II of 1896, "he levy by the Commissioners of the Kharar Municipality, in the district of Midnapore, of a fee on the registration, under section 142, of ałł earts kept or used in the ordinary course of business within the Municipality, and whereas one objections have been raised to the proposal within one month from the publication of the above notification within the Municipality, it is hereby notified for general information that the Lieutenant-Governor herchy sanctions "he levy by the Commissioners of the Kharar Municipality of the said fee on the registration of carts at rates not exceeding those mentioned in section 143 of the Act. RISLEY, Stoy. to the Govt. of Bengas. _, NOTIFICATION, No. 4926M.—The 18th November 1897.--Whereas a notification No. 4098M., dated the, 7th August 1897, was published at page 191, Part 1B of the Calcutta Gazetta of the 11th, Idem, declaring the Lien tenant-Governor’s intention to sanction the levy by the Commission, rs of the Rainjibanpore Muniolpality, in the district of Midnapore, of a fee on the registration, under s action 142 of the Bengal Municipal Act, If I of 1884, as amended by Benga Acts IV of 1891 and Il of 1896, of all carts kept or used in the ordinary course of business within the Municipality, and whereas no objectious have been raised to the proposal within one month from the publication of the above notification within the Municipality, it is hereby notified for general information thost, in the exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 86 of the Act, the Lieutenant-G veragr sanctions the levy of the said fee by the Commissioners of the Tanjibwin wore Murtre+pality at rates not exceeding those mentioned in section 143 of the Act.
