II, The 28th June 1877.-The following gentlemen are appointed to be Commissioners of the Rajpore Municipality : Baboo Abhoy Churn Chakrabarty, a resident of Rajpore and Professor of Sanskrit, St. Xavier's College, vice Pundit Anund Chunder Siromony. ,, Saroda Prosad Mookerjee, Zemindar, as an Additional Municipal Com missioner to represent the village of Jagodul. The following gentlemen are appointed to be Commissioners of the Pubna Municipality:— Baboo Abhoy ፶w Govind Chowdhuri, zemindar, vice Pundit Ananda Mohun Bedyabhhoosna. ,, Ishwar Chunder Bose, Head Master, Government School, vice Baboo Loke Kant Pramanick. Mr. G. R. K. Meares, Officiating District Superintendent of Police, Sarun, is appointed to be a Commissioner of the Municipality of Chupra, vice Lieutenant-Colonel Buttanshaw, on furlough. Road Cess.-The 3rd July 1877.—Mr. B. De, Assistant Magistrate and Collector, Durbhunga, is appointed to be Vice-Chairman of the Durbhunga District Road Cess Committee. Ennarum.—The 80th June 1877 r-In the orders of the 26th June, published in the Calcutta Gazette of the 27th idem, vesting Mr. E. R. Henry, Sub-divisional Officer of Romehal, with the powers of a Collector under the Land Acquisition Act, for “X (B.C.) of 1870 ° read “ Act X of 1870.” The following notifications are republished from the Assam Gazette : o The 18th June 1877.--Dr. C. Martin, Inspector of Schools, Assam, having resumed charge of his office on the forenoon of the 1st June 1877, on return from the privilege leave granted to him in orders dated the 16th February 1877, and published at page 37, Part I of the Assam Gazette of the 17th February 1877, the unexpired portion of the leave is hereby cancelled. .* The 21st Ji.ne 1877.-Mr. H.
