The 2nd October 1877.-Baboo Tarun Chunder Sirkar, Officiating Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Julpigoree, is appointed to act temporarily as an Assistant Superintendent of Police, and is posted to the district of Nuddea. Inspector Nepal Chandra Sen, of the Hazareebagh district, is promoted from the Third to the Second Grade of Inspectors, vice Inspector Ram Renoo Ghose, removed. REGIstRATIoN.– The 27th September 1877.–Baboo Gossain Dass Dutt, Officiating Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, is also appointed to be Sub-Registrar of Bogra, vice Mr. H. Rattray, on special duty at Madras. Education-The 8th october 1877-Baboo Hem Chunder Kur, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Shahabad, is appointed to be a member of, and Secretary to, the Shahabad District School Committee, vice Mr. F. St. C. Grimwood, transferred. Forests.-The 6th October 1877.—Mr. E. G. Chester, Assistant Conservator of Forests, is appointed to have temporary charge of the Chittagong Forest Division, rice Mr. H. H. Davis, going on leave. 職 Jails.— The 5th October 1877.--The orders of the 18th ultimo, confirming Mr. A. D. Larymore as Superintendent of the Midnapore Central Jail, will take effect from the 20th January 1877, the date on which Dr. C. Sconce forfeited that appointment. Mr. A. D. Larymore, Superintendent of the Midnapore Central Jail, is allowed leave for " one month, under the rules in Chapter VII of the Civil Leave Code. 衅 Monic AL.— The 8th October 1877.-The services of the undermentioned Third Grade Assistant Surgeons are placed at the disposal of the Government of India in the Home Department, with effect from the 27th ultimo :— Nitai Charan Haldar. Mon Mohan Das Amulya Chandra Champati, Shashtivar Roy. Mr. C. H. Wood, Professor of Chemistry, Medical College, and Chemical Examiner to Government, who was allowed six months’ special leave under orders of the 28th ultimo, is allowed subsidiary leave for seven days. Municipal.—The 27th September 1877–Mr. W. Linstedt is appointed to be a Municipal Commissioner for the town of Serampore.
