The 15th October 1877—Under Section 5 of the Indian Registration Act, III of 1877, the Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to transfer thana Barabari, in thẻ district of Rungpore, from the sub-district of Kurigram to the sub-district Phoranbari. The 19th October 1877.—It is hereby notified that, under Section 234 of the Bengal Municipal Consolidation Act, V (B.C.) of 1876, the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal is pleased to extend all the provisions contained in Part VII, Chapter II of the said Act to the Municipality of Chuprah. * Horace A. The 9th October 1877.--Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at the public expense for public purposes, viz. for the construction of public latrines and the burying of the night-soil thereof, at Moonsifidanga, in the town of Purulia, pergunnah Churra, zillah Manbhoom, it is hereby declared that for the above purposes a piece of land measuring 290-4 feet by 150 feet, equivalent to, more or less, 3 beeghas and 4 cottah of standard measurement, bounded on the north by lands cultivated by Nundoo Moochi; south by Norkoo Sawdagur's embankment; east by lands cultivated by Nurkoo Sawdagur and Sadhu Mundul ; and west by lands cultivated by Nurkoo Sawdagur, is required within the aforesaid town of Purulia.
