NOTIFICATION. t r n continuation of the Notification dated 23rd January 1877, published in the Calcutta Gazette of the 81st idem, the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal has been pleased to direct that the following specification of boundaries of the city thanas of Patna should be notified for general information :- to 34-- -:JF -T ===To City thanas. On the East.—Commencing from the north and coming southwards the eastern limits of the following villages, viz. Deareh Ufsulpore, Muslupore, &c., Saidpore Mosulleh, &c., Buhadoorpore Jogee, Russoolpore Jogee, and Noundloll Xhupra. On the s-The limits of the following villages, viz. Noundlоli Chuрra, Buhadoorpore Jogee, Sadikpore Jogee No. 06, Sadikpore Jogee No. 95, Pirtheepore-Lohaneepore No. 84, Lohaneepore No. 85, and Nundlolpore. On the West —The western limits of the following villages, viz. Nundlọlpore, Iohanecpore, Pirtheepore Aima, again Lohaneepore, Pirtheepore-Lohancepore, Quazeapore-Bheerpore &c., Saidpore Mosulleh &c., and the south and western boundary of Deareh-Muhazce-Kirtheeshore. On the North.-The boundary agrees with the boundary of the village lands of Subulpore-1)eareh, which village, as well as that of Kootoobpore, is included in this thana. On the East.—Starting from the branch of the Ganges river, the Puthreeghat road, Khajoorbanah, Muhulla lane, Mosulapore Jheel, along a bund traversing the jheel between the south end of Khajoorbanah lane and the angle of the Koomrar road further south, and thence southwards to the Railway line ; from this point the limits of the following villages, viz. Chuk-Shaha-U2-Mohee-oodeenpore, Mouzeh Jhalee, and Mahpurwar Chuk. On the South. —The southern limit of village Mahpurwar Chuk. On the West – 'The limits of villages Mahpurwar ('huk, Mouzeh Jhalee, and Chuk-Shaha-Uz-Mohce-oodeenpore, and then the eastern boundary of thana Peer Buhore. On the North.-The boundary of thana Soultanganj. On the East.—Starting from the branch of the river Ganges by the road running north and south "immediately to the east of the opium factory, it follows the eastern side of this road to the corner of the wall surrounding the piece of Government land to the east of the above road; from this point the boundary turns east along the south wall of the plot of Government iand to a point 178 feet east of the south-west corner thereof, and opposite the north-west corner of Dewan Mohulla outpost where, . turning south, it crosses the road, and then by an imaginary straight line runs southwards till it reaches the west moat of the city immediately at the back of the Dewan Mohulla police outpost, at a distance of 45 feet, the moat being within Alamganj station jurisdiction; thence the boundary is the west mont itself until it reaches the Railway bridge; thence, the boundary runs westwards along the north of the Railway line till it meets the north-east corner of village Bagh-Ali-Ibrahimkhan ; thence along the limits of the following villages, viz. Bagh-Ali-Ibrahimkhan, Kuooa-Huk nee &c., and Neerundpore Bhurowneea &c.
