The 5th October 1877.-The following gentlemen are appointed to be Honorary Magistrates for the Sudder Bench of the Purneah district, and are vested with the powers of a Magistrate of the Third Class :— Mr. H. Cave, ,, R. C. Walker, Kootr Pudmanund Singh. Baboo Srikant Jha, Zemindar. „ Hurmundon Sahai, Pleader. } Indigo Planters. 7he 16th November 1877.—Mr. John White, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, in charge of the Barh division of the Patna district, is vested with the powers to try summarily the offences mentioned in Section 222 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The 19th November 1877.-Baboo Omesh Chunder Banerjee, Sub-Deputy Collector, Godda, is vested temporarily with the powers of a Magistrate of the Second Class, and with powers cquivalent to those of a Moonsif within the limits of the sub-division of Godda, in the Sonthal Pergunuahs. The 20th November 1877.—Baboo Aubinash Chunder Mitter, Additional Moonsif, £atna, having resumed charge of his office in the forenoon of the 1st October last, the unexpired portion of the leave granted to him under orders of the 26th July 1877, is cancelled. Üo The 19th November 1877.-Under Section 3, Act I (B.C.) of 1876 (an Act to provide for the voluntary registration of Mahomedan marriages and divorces), the Licutenant Governor has been pleased to grant a license to Moonshee Jalaluddin, authorizing him to register Mahomedan marriages and divorces, and to exercise the other functions of a Mahomedan Registrar within the limits of the Police-station of Palong, in the sub-division of Madaripore, in the district of Furreedpore.
