( २ऐ8 ) [ Paar II. Taboo Brahmonath Sen, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, on deputation under ‘the Revenue Department of this Government, is allowed leave for three months, under sestion 72, chapter V of the Civil Leave Code. The order of the 8th January last, granting one month's leave to Baboo Satis Chunder Bose, Officiating Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Noakholly, is cancelled. The 2nd March 1886 —Mr. H. Gillon, Joint-Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Shahabad, is appointed to act as District and Sessions Judge of Furreedpore, during the absence, on deputation, of Mr. W. H. Page, or until further orders. Mr. A. W. R. Cadell, c.s., reported his departure from India, on furlough, on the 4th February last. Baboo Madan Mohun Roy is appointed to act as a Sub-Deputy Collector for employment under the Board of Revenue on settlement work in the district of Pubna, during the absence, on leave, of Baboo Akhoy Coomar Roy Chowdry, or until further orders. Baboo Madan Mohun Roy is vested with the powers of a Deputy Collector under Regulation VII of 1822. Moulvie Mahomed Serajul Huq, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Bogra, is allowed leave for two months, under section 72, chapter V of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from such date as he may avail himself of it. Baboo Nagendra Nath Ghose, Officiating Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Bogra, is allowed leave up to the 1st instant, under section 128, rule 1, and section 141, rule 1, chapter X of the Civil Leave Code, in extension of the leave granted to him under the order of the 8th January last. Captain A. Weekes, Commandant, “Purmeah Rifles,” is allowed leave di absence for twenty months, with cffect from such date as he may avail himself of it. Mr. H. G. Cooke, c s., is appointed to act as Captain Commandant of the “ Purneah Rifles,” during the absenco, on leave, of Captain A. Weekes, or until further orders. Mr. K G Gupta, Joint-Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Nuddea, is allowed furlough for two days, under section 50, chapter V of the Civil Leave Code, in extension of the furlough granted to him under the order of the 10th February last. Mr. H. A. D. Phillips, Joint-Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Pubna, is transferred to the district of Purneah. Baboo Taraprosad Chatterjee, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Burdwan, is allowed leave for two months, under section 72, chapter V of thc Civil Leave Code, with effect from the date on which he availed himself of it. Moulvi Faizuddeen Hossein, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, on leave, is posted to the Sudder station of the district of Mymensingh. Baboo Poorno Chunder Mitter, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, on leave, 1 sposted temporarily to tho Sudder station of the Burdwan district, during the absence, on leave, of Daboo Tara Prosad Chatterjee, or until further orders. Police.—The 24th February 1886 —Mr. C. C. Plowden, Officiating Assistant Superintendent of Police, 24-Pergunnahs, is allowed leave for one month, under section 188, rule 2, chapter X of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the date on which he availed himself of it. The 1st March 1886.-Mr A. S. Judge, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Sarun, is appointed to act, until further orders, in the first-grade of Assistant Superintendents of Police, with effect from the 21st January 1886. The 2nd March 1886.-Mr. R. H. G. Irvine, District Superintendent of Police, Mozufferpore, acted in the first grade of District Superintendents of Police from the 17th December 1885 to the 4th January 1886, both days inclusive, vice Mr. W. D. Pratt, on leave. Mr. A. H. James, Assistant Inspector-General of Railway Police, acted in the second grade of District Superintendents of Police from the 17th December 1885 to the 4th January 1886, both days inclusive, vice Mr. R.
