@之 জন্মস্থানাদি নিৰ্ণয় । 2nd instant, Mr. Debendranath Mukerji is in formed that there is an account in vernacular of Morvi submitted by Mr. Mangalji Gourishankar in A. D. 1843. It contains information as to how the Morvi state was founded and the names of chiefs who ruled over it. It contains infor mation about Tankara. There are also revenu e accounts of the Morvi state of the attachment period from - A. D. 1841 to 1846 which contain some names of clerks etc, under Mr. Mangalji but they give no information as to who was the Vahivatdar or revenue collector of Tankara. However if he can find out the name of the father of the late Swami Dayanand Saraswaty from among the clerks mentiored in the accounts, he will be shown them when he calls himself at the office of the Agent to the Governor.
