Nలి consider that it is still the custom among Hindus to name their sons and daughters after moral qualities such as Laja Santi (Peace), Siddhi (Success), Kirti or Glorious Act, Prema (Love), Kshama (Forgiveness) etc. &etc. 1t is not improbable that the imagination of parents taking fire at the first putting of names after moral qualities to their sons, would go on to put allegorical names to the offspring of them again in consistency with the first allegory. The reader will mark the same name for instance of a certain sage to recur often Yugas. This an honorific title given by the then reigning king. Many and often in successive was either a patronymic or individuals are called by the same name in different periods of Indian history such as Ram Chandra without its being a patronymic or honorific title as the above. European antiquarians lose sight of these facts. They think a particular name occurring in different periods of Indo-Aryan his. tory to be the name of the same person and laugh at their improbable longevity. We have not explained at every step the allegories which we have translated in to historical language as that would have interfered with the narrative, but we have given in some places explanations in notes below leaving to the reader himself to judge about their correctness by comparing our narrative with that in the Vishnu Purana and other books. I have supplied links in the narrative given in the Purana by easy inference, for instance, prince Buddha the ancestor of the lunar race coming to India from the Frans, Himalayan Arya country on account of the slur cast on his birth. This fact belongs to the history of the primitive Aryans of central Asia and not to that of the Indo-Aryans. I have largely availed myself of this process of easy inference in supplying missing links of Puranic narrative. European antiquarians think that there is no history of the primitive Aryans of central Asia before their migration to India whereas it is to be actually found in the Puranas, if sought after with care. Some antiquarians again doubt whether this migration actually took place ; but of உடே S S S S S SAAAASAASAAAS - ബ such migration and theolevious residence of the Aryans in Central Asia there is ample proof. \ There are places and seas and rivers in central Asia which still bear Aryan names such as the Caspian Sea derived from the name of the Aryan saint Kashyapa, the river Asurada (Asurahrada or the lake of the Asuras), the Harirood or the Harihrada (Lake of the God Hari mentioned in the, Rig Veda), Rooder reed (Rudrahrada or the lake of the God Rudra mentioned in the Rig Veda) Oxus or Chakshasha called Yakshas in the Rig Veda t, Jaxartes named also like the Oxus after the Yaksha race which dwelt on its banks, Merv corresponding to Meru, Task argaon or Tashkaragram or the village of Robbers d. d. ০ দেড় টাকা করে স্বীয় নামে করমালি মতওয়া میچچم جمعجerrereمه _ + The Vishnu Purana evidently meant this river by what it discribes under the name Chakshasha in the geographical chapter of the work.
