$44 also, to love and obey God, far above what were presented to them; and we are assured in Scripture that “ of them, to whom much is given, mach will be required.” There can therefore be no excuse now, abundantly taught and assisted as we are in all respects, cither for worshipping idols or for living in any kind of known sin; and we are warnca that “God hath appointed a day in which he will also judge the world in righteousness, and render to every man according to his deeds; to them that 認"8 contentious and do not obey the truth, but obey unຕໍ່ghteousness, indignation and wrath ; tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that doeth evil ; but glory, honour, and peace, to every mai that worketh good; for there is no respect ர் persons with God.” Such is the invariable rule fixed in the word of the God of truth, holiness, and justice.
