There would be no personal bias, Selfish aims or ambitions would be impossible.' আজ বেশ একটা অভিজ্ঞতা হোলো। মাঘী পণিমা উপলক্ষে সকাল সকাল স্কুল বন্ধ হবার পরে গেলাম কাত্তজন পাকে ডালিয়া ফল ফোটা দেখতে। সেখান থেকে বেরিয়ে একবার ভাবলাম ইম্পিরিয়াল লাইব্রেরী গিয়ে কিছ একটি পড়ব। সাত পাঁচ ভেবে সামনেই একখানা। টালিগঞ্জের ট্রাম দেখে উঠে পড়লাম। তাতে। টালিগঞ্জ ডিপোতে নেমে একটি ফাঁকা মাঠ কি পাড়াগাঁ খাঁজে নেবার জন্যে হোটে চলেচি, কালী ফিলেমর সন্টডিও পার হয়ে একটা খাল পেলাম। খালে খেয়া আছে, আধিপয়সা করে তার পারানি। খাল পেরিয়ে যাচ্চি। একটা লোক আমার আগে যাচ্ছিল, তার মাখে। শনলাম যে নিকটে কোন গ্রামে মাঘীপণিমা উপলক্ষে কি একটা মেলা হয়। সেখানে চলেচে সে। আমি তার সঙ্গ নিলাম। ভাবলাম দেখাই যাক কি রকমের মেলা। চলেচি তো চলোইছি, দিব্যি পাড়াগা, বাঁশঝাড়, শিমল গাছে রাঙা ফল ধরেচে, ঘোটবিনে 决坊
