It was not by accident that the greatest thinkers of all ages were deeply religious souls.' -Max Planck. ওপরের কথাগালো সমর্থন করে আমারই অনভূতির, যে অনভূতির কথা আমি এই ডায়েরীর নানা সন্থানে নানা আকারে লিখেছি। সেই সন্তব্ধ চিন্ময় ভাবলোক যার সন্ধান মেলে নদীতীরে নেমে-আসা অপরাহের নিত্যজনিতায়, বনঝোপে ফোটা বনকলমী ফলের উদাস শোভায়, অাঁধার নিশীথে মাথার ওপরকার জবলজৰলে নক্ষত্র ছিটানো ছায়াপথের বিরাট ইঙ্গিতে। যে জীবনরহস্যের মাল উদ্ধৰ্ব্বকাশে, শাখাপ্রশাখা ধরণীর ধালিতে। মিঃ সিনহার মোটরে আমি ও কল্যাণী ধলভূমগড়ে নটর বাসায় এসে দেখি গটিকে, মংলা ও গোপাল উপস্থিত। ওখানে বিকেলের দশ্যটি বেশ চমৎকার হয়েচে ; চা খেয়ে চলি আবার মোটরে, চাকুলিয়া থেকে বিষাসনাত বনের দশ্য দেখতে দেখতে মান সমড়িয়া হয়ে বহিরাগড়া ডাকবাংলো পৌছে গেলাম। সেদিন কত রাত পৰ্য্যন্ত গলপ করি। পরদিন অর্থাৎ গতকাল খাড়া মৌদা হয়ে বম্পেব রোড দিয়ে দািধকুন্ডী রিজাভ টর বাংলোতে। খড়ের ঘাটোয়ালি বাংলো, চারিধারে আম ও ফলবান বক্ষের । নিকটেই বন আরম্ভ হয়েচে, জানােলা দিয়ে চোখে পড়চে—এতোয়া বান্টিস্নাত বনভূমি থেকে বন্য শনের ফল ও বন্য কলাফলের মত কি ফল নিয়ে এল। বলিটি পডচে-কল্যাণী রবীন্দ্রনাথের “মালঞ্চ” পড়চে, আমি টেবিলে বসে ভাবচি, এ যেন আমার ক্লীত মৌজা, ওই বন আর এই ঘাটোয়ালি বাংলো যদি আমার থাকতো এমন নিজজন স্থানে তবে লিখবার কত সংবিধাই না হোত। কতক্ষণ পরে মিঃ সিনহা বন তদারক করে ফিরে এলেন, আমরাও একটা বনের মধ্যে যেতে যেতে বনবিভাগের রোপিত বোনা গাছ ও শিশগাছ দেখলাম। বিকেলে বাংলোতে বেড়াতে এলেন হেডমাস্টার মহাশয়। কাল এখানে মিটিং আছে। কি থৈ থৈ কারচে’ space এখানে ডাকবাংলোর আশেপাশে, SY
