He has gone to his rest-the hero in the cause of nation and humanity, a poet of lio mean order, an enthusiastic preacher gifted with fiery eloquence, of the principles of simple Theism and social equality, and a man of high ideas, which have materialised themselves in the institutions for the education of boys and gills, and took hita to all length of Helf-sacrifice, true and faithful in all his private relations. The ship has erossed the bar, and beyond all limitations of earthly life, it sails fullbreasted with new horizons and outlooks-visions realised to open out new visions, new currents of life and with a fuller realisation of the Infinite in sweeter relationship and deeper commution with the spirits which ever called him to nobler heights beyond limself, beyond his past. -The World and the New Dispensation.
