রূপে গমন করত অবশেষে শিনআর অর্থাৎ বাবেলনের মাঠে পঁহুছিল। এ মহাপুরুষ নোখ যে তাহারদের সঙ্গে২ গমন করিলেন এমত বোধ হয় না কিন্তু জাহজ যে স্থানে থাকিল তাহার নিকটে তিনি বসতি করিলেন এবং তাঁহার সন্তানেরা ভারতবর্ষ ও চীন্ ও তচ্চতুর্দ্দিগস্থ প্রদেশে ব্যাপ্ত হইল এমত অনুমান হয়। অপর বাবেলনে যাহারা গমন করিয়াছিল তাহারা মাঠে পঁহুছিয়া তথায় অবস্থিতি করিতে নিশ্চয় করিল এবং গ্রন্থ নোপযুক্ত অনেক মশালা প্রভৃতি প্রাপ্ত হইয়া এক নগর প্রস্তুত করিয়া এবং চূড়াতে স্বর্গর্য্য়ন্ত সপর্শে এমত এক গুম্বেজ গ্রন্থন করিতে স্থির করিল কিন্ত অতিশীঘ্র তাহারদের গর্ব্ব খর্ব্ব হইল যেহেতুক তাহারদের একজাতীয় যে ভাষা ছিল ঈশ্বরের আজ্ঞাক্রমে তাহার বৈপরীত্য হইল এব মজুরেরা আপনারদের ভাষা পরস্পর বুঝিতে না পারাতে সুতরাং তাহারদের তৎকর্ম্ম ত্যাগ করিতে হইল।
