খর্ব্বকরণ তাঁহার অত্যাবশ্যক হইল এবং তন্নিমিত্ত তিনি ইটোলিয়ার সমাজকেও সপক্ষ করিতে স্বীকৃত হইলেন অথচ ঐ ইটোলিয়ার সমাজ তাঁহারই নিবারণার্থ সৃষ্ট হয়। অপর বহুকাল রজিকরণানন্তর তিনি অশীতি বর্ষ বয়স্ক হইয়া খ্রীষ্টীয়ান শকের ২৪৩ বৎসর পূর্ব্বে লোকান্তরগত হন।
