oç এইরূপ অদ্ভুত বীরত্ব প্রদর্শন করিয়া কেদার রায় চিরস্মরণীয় হইয়া গিয়াছেন । বাঙ্গালী যে এককালে বাহুবলে অজেয় ছিল, কেদার রায় প্রভৃতির বিবরণ তাহার সাক্ষ্য প্রদান করিতেছে। রাম রাম বসু বলেন যে, প্রতাপাদিত্য কেদার রায়কে জয় করিয়াছিলেন। কিন্তু তাহার বিশেষ কোনও প্রমাণ পাওয়া ষায় না । আমরা পূৰ্ব্বে উল্লেখ করিয়াছি যে, চাদ রায় ও কেদার রায় দে উপাধিধারী বঙ্গজ কারস্থ ছিলেন। তাহার কুলীন না হইলেও, বিক্রমপুর সমাজের গোষ্ঠীপতি ছিলেন। রাজনৈতিক বিষয়ের স্থায় সামাজিক বিষয়েও তাহদের যথেষ্ট সন্মান ছিল। বিক্রমপুরে তাহাদিগের অনেক কীৰ্ত্তি বিদ্যমান ছিল। এখনও কিছু কিছু দেখিতে পাওয়া যায়। কেদারপুর নামক গ্রামে কোনও কোনও চিহ্ন এখনও বিদ্যমান আছে । * তাহদের রাজধানী শ্ৰীপুর অনেক দিন কীৰ্ত্তিনাশার কীৰ্ত্তিনাশক সলিলে বিধৌত হইয়। গিয়াছে। । চাদ রায় ও কেদার রায় সম্বন্ধে অনেক প্রবাদ প্রচলিত আছে। অস্তান্ত কথা । vessels of war and had laid seige to Kilmak the imperial commander in Srinagar.
