বঙ্গের বাহিরে বাঙ্গালী । أما\ প্রকাশিত “যোদ্ধা মুসেফের”। সংক্ষিপ্ত জীবনচরিতে প্রকাশিত হইয়াছে। এই সময় একবার তাহাকে সুদক্ষ সেনাপতির ন্যায় শিবির সংস্থাপনপূর্বক রীতিমত যুদ্ধ করিতে হইয়াছিল। সে যুদ্ধে দুৰ্দ্ধান্ত বিদ্রোহদলপতি ধাথলসিং এবং অনেক সর্দার হত হয়। এই যুদ্ধে জয়লাভ করায় তাহার ভয়ে বিদ্রোহিগণ আর যমুনা পার হইতে সাহস করে নাই। প্যারীমোহন বাবুর বয়স ছিল তখন বাইশ বৎসর মাত্র। এই দ্বাবিংশবর্ষীয় বাঙ্গালী যুবকের সৎসাহস ও বীরত্বের পুরস্কারস্বরূপ * বড়লাট বাহাদুর কাণপুর দরবারে তঁহাকে সম্মানিত করিয়া বহুমূল্য খিলাত (হাজারটাকা মূল্যের সম্মানসূচক পরিচ্ছদ ), বিস্তৃত জমীদারী ও রাজভক্তির স্বতন্ত্র পুরস্কার স্বরূপ ডেপুটী কলেক্টরের পদ প্ৰদান করিয়াছিলেন। প্যারীবাবুর কীৰ্ত্তি প্রবাসে বাঙ্গালীর সম্মান সন্ত্রম এবং রাজা প্রজী উভয়ের শ্রদ্ধা শতগুণ বদ্ধিত করিয়াছিল। লর্ড ক্যানিং বাহাদুর তঁহার ডেসপাচে প্যারীমোহনবাবুর সংকীৰ্ত্তির বিপুল প্ৰশংসা করিয়াছিলেন। তিনি তঁহাকে “যোদ্ধা মুন্সেফ” ( Fighting Munsiff) এই নাম দিয়াছিলেন। এলাহাবাদের তৎকালীন ম্যাজিষ্ট্রেট টমসন ( Mr. F. Thompson ) সাহেব কমিশনার সাহেবকে যে রিপোর্ট । পাঠাইয়াছিলেন তাহাতে তিনি প্যারীমোহন বাবুর সম্বন্ধে লিখিয়াছিলেন,-“ Babu Peary Mohon was appointed a Moonsif at Manjhanpur, in this district in November last, and has since been indefatigable in his exertions to drive back the rebels in his part of the district. Though not actually in his province of duty, he offered himself to the Commissioner to assemble the well-affected Zemindars, to engage and conciliate the doubtful, and thus create a Government party against the disaffected.
