They also claim that they have been paid their arrears of pay for the period of absence and resettled in their respective professions. But the fact of the case is that nobody has paid any heed to the offer and the question of restoring any of the socalled surrendered persons is nothing but false propaganda. In fact, Pakistan's claim to have set free many of those arrested earlier is also a big lie. A Bengali Fit. Lt. who recently escaped from the Pak army concentration camp at Dacca Cantt. has given a detailed account of a large number of men and women who are still confined in the concentration camp even after the so-called General Amnesty offer.
