পরিশিষ্ট । st Meer Mahomed Kossim Khan Bahadur; he shall be invested with the administration of all assairs of the Provinces, and after his Excellency he shall succeed to the Government. 3. Betwixt us and Meer Mahomed Kossim Khan Bahadur, a firm friendship and union is established, his enemies are our enemies and his friends are our friends. 4. The Europeans and Telingas of the English Army shall be ready to assist the Nobab Meer Maliomed Kossim Khan Bahadur in the management of all affairs, and in all affairs dependent on him, they shall exert themselves to the utmost of their abilities, 5. For all charges of the Company and of the said Army, and provisions for the field, &c., the lands of Burdwan, Midnapur and Chittagong shall be assigned, and sunnad for that purpose shall be written and granted. The Company is to stand to all losses and receive all the profits of these three countries, and we will demand no more than the three assignments aforesaid. 6. One-half of the Chunum produced at Sylhet for three years shall de purchased by the Gomastahs of the Company from the people of the Government, at the customary rate of that place. The tenants and inhabitants of those districts shall receive no injury. 7. The balance of the former tuncaw shall be paid according to the kistbundee agreed upon with the Royroyan. The jewls which have been pledged shall be received back again. S. We will not allow the tenants of the Circar to settle in the lands of the English Company, neither shall the tenants of the Company be allowed to settle in the lands of the Circar. 9. We will give no protection to the dependents of the Circar in the lands, or in the factories of the Company, neither shall any protection be given to the dependents of the Company in the lands of the Circar and whosoever shall fly to either party for refuge shall be delivered up. Io. The measures for war and peace with the Shahzada, and raising supplies of money, and the concluding both these points shall be weighed in the scale of reason, and whatever is judged expedient shall be put in execution ; and it shall be so contrived by the joint councils, that he be removed from this Country, nor suffered to get any footing in it, Wether there be peace with the Sh thzada or not, our agreement with Meer Mahomed Kossim Khan Bahadur, we will (by the grace of God) inviolably observe as long as the English Company's factories continue in the Country.
