৯ই মনুসংহিতা । २ रङ5 76 Brauma' milked out, as it were, from the three Vedas the letter A, the letter U, and the letter M, which form by their coalition the triliteral monosyllable, together with three mysterious words, bhur, bhuvah, swer, or earth, sky, heaven : ত্রিভ্যএব তু বেদেভ্যঃ পাদং পাদমদুদুহৎ। তদিতৃচোৎস্যাঃ সাবিত্র্যাঃ পরমেষ্ঠী প্রজাপতিঃ । ৭৭ ৷ ত্রিভ্যএবেতি। তথা ত্রিভাএব বেদেভাঃ ঋগ্যজুঃসামভ্যঃ তদিত্যুচইতি প্রতিকেনামুদিতীয়াঃ সাবিত্র্যাঃ পদং পাদমিতি ত্রীন পাদান ব্রহ্মা চকর্ষ পরমে স্থানে তিষ্ঠতীতি পরমেষ্ঠী ॥৭৭ ব্রহ্ম ঋগ যজুঃ সাম এই তিন বেদ হইতে ক্রমে ক্রমে এক এক পদ করিয়া ত্রিপাদ সাবিত্রী অর্থাৎ গায়ত্ৰী উদ্ধার করিয়াছেন। ॥ ৭৭ ৷ 77 From the three Vedas also the lord of creatures, incomprehensibly exalted, successively milked out the three measures of that ineffable text, beginning with the word tad, and entitled sàvitrí orgáyatrì. এতদক্ষরমেতাঞ্চ জপন্‌ ব্যাহুতিপূৰ্ব্বেকাং । । সন্ধীয়োর্বেদবিদ্বিপ্রোবেদপুণ্যেন যুজ্যতে ॥ ৭৮ ৷৷ যতএবমতঃ । এতদক্ষরমিতি । এতদক্ষরমোঙ্কণররূপং এতাঞ্চ ত্রিপণদণং সাবিত্ৰীং ব্যান্থতিত্রয়পূৰ্ব্বকাং সন্ধ্যাকালে জপন বেদজোবিপ্রাদির্বেদত্রয়াধ্যয়নপুণ্যেন যুক্তোভবতি অতঃ সন্ধ্যাকালে প্রণববাহুতিত্রয়োপেতাং সাবিত্ৰীং জপেদিতি বিধিঃ কল্প্যতে ॥ ৭৮ ৷৷ ‘ওঁ এই অক্ষর এবং ব্যাহতি পূর্বক ত্রিপাদ গায়ত্রী ব্রাহ্মণাদি বর্ণের সন্ধ্যাকালে জপকরিলে তিন বেদ পাঠ জষ্ঠ পুণ্যকে প্রাপ্ত হয়েন ॥ ৭৮ ৷৷ 78 A priest, who shall know the Veda, and shall pronounce to himself, both morning and evening, that syllable, and that holy text preceded by the three words, shall attain the sanctity which the Veda confers; সহস্ৰকৃত্বশ্বভ্যস্য বহিরেতত্ত্বিকং দ্বিজঃ । মহতোইপোনসোমাসাত্বচেবাহির্বিমুচ্যতে ॥ ৭৯ ৷ সহস্ৰকৃত্বইতি। সন্ধ্যায়ামন্যত্র চ কালে এতৎ প্রকৃতং প্রণবব্যান্থত্ৰিয়সাবিত্র্যাত্মকং ত্রিকং এামাহিনদীতীরারণার্মে সহস্রাবৃত্তং
