মেঘনাদবধ কাব্য
আসার—বৃষ্টি-ধারা; the lines of rain.
জীমূত—মেঘ; cloud.
মন্দ্র— ধ্বনি; sound.
শোকের ঝড়...... হাহাকার রব—A storm of grief blew in the court. The females were, as it were, the lightning; their dishevelled hair was, as it were, the cloud; their tears were, as it were, the rains; and the cries of grief were, as it were, the roars of clouds.
