মেঘনাদবধ কাব্য
Ramachandra were, as it were, lotuses in that lake. কাদম্বা—a goose.
মধুস্বরা—sweet-voiced. প্লাবন-পীড়নে—owing to the oppressions of the flood.
প্রবাহ—stream. অতিক্রমি—overflowing.
প্লাবন-পীড়নে etc.—the stream overflows its banks with water through the pressure of flood. So a mind afflicted with sorrows gives over its sorrows to another sympathetic mind. The mind is the stream. The flood of water is the flood of sorrows. The banks are sympathetic minds or persons.
