সুবিধি বিধির বিধি—the laws of the God are good. নিবে—is extinguished.
আত্মহা―one who commits suicide.
গ্রহে—গ্রহণ করে; takes.
পরে—in the after life; in the life beyond.
কলুষকুহকে—the illusions of vices.
রণে—যুদ্ধ করে; fights.
আবরেন—protects; covers; shields.
কান্তার—inaccessible forest.
রোগিহাস্য যথা—as there is no lustre in the smiles of a patient, so there was no lustre in the rays coming through the leaves.
তোষ—তুষ্টকর; satisfy; gratify.
রসনা-জনিত-ধ্বনি—sound born from the tongue, i.e. the sound of a human being.
এ শাস্তির হেতু—the cause of this punishment. খর—is the name of a Rakshasa. খর and দূষণ are compared to snakes devoid of fangs and Rama is compared to a mongoose.
বৈদেহীহৃদয়-কমলরবি—Rama who is, as it were, the sun in relation to the lotus of the heart of Sita.
