আলমোড়ায় । কাটিয়া রাশি রাশি তাহার নিকট প্রেরণ করিতেছিলেন, স্বামিজী। কিন্তু উহাতে বিন্দুমাত্ৰ বিচলিত না হইয়া নীরব অবজ্ঞার সহিত ঐ গুলিকে উপেক্ষা করিতে লাগিলেন । তবে দুঃখের বিষয় এই যে চিকাগো ধৰ্ম্ম মহাসভার সভাপতি ডাঃ ব্যারোজ্যের মত একজন বড়দরের সাহেবও এই সকল ক্ষুদ্রলোকের দলে যোগ দিয়া আপনার ক্ষুদ্রত্বের পরিচয় দিতেছিলেন। কিছুদিন পূর্বে তিনি ভারত ভ্ৰমণে আসিয়াছিলেন। এ দেশের লোকে যাহাতে তাহার যথোপযুক্ত সমােদর করে তজ্জন্য স্বামিজী ১৮৯৬ সালের শেষভাগে লণ্ডন হইতে কলিকাতায্য ইণ্ডিয়ান মিরর ও অন্যান্য পত্রে একখানি লিপি প্রেরণ করেন । * ফলে ব্যারোজ লিপিটি এই :-
