FOREWORD

 

 The first edition of the Constitution of India in Bengali was published in 1983. Thereafter, the second edition was published in 1987.

 Now the Official Languages Branch, Law Department, Government of West Bengal has prepared a Bengali Version of the Constitution of India incorporating amendments upto 105^th Amendment and C.O.s 272 and 273. The task was done in consultation and co-ordination with the Official Languages Wing of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India.
