সকলকে স্বাগতম,
সর্বজনীন আচরণবিধির প্রয়োগ নির্দেশিকার ওপর দ্বিতীয় সম্প্রদায়ব্যাপী অনুসমর্থন নির্বাচন আগামী ২০২৩ সালের জানুয়ারির মাঝামাঝিতে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে। ২০২২ এর মার্চের নির্বাচনের প্রেক্ষাপটে এই নির্বাচনটি অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে। ২০২২ এর নির্বাচনে অধিকাংশ ভোটারই প্রয়োগ নির্দেশিকার পক্ষে রায় দিয়েছিলেন এবং অংশগ্রহণকারীরা নির্বাচনকালীন সময়ে সম্প্রদায়ের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়গুলো চিহ্নিত করতেও সাহায্য করেছিল। বোর্ডের সম্প্রদায় বিষয়ক কমিটি এসব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থানগুলো পর্যালোচনার অনুরোধ জানিয়েছে।
সম্প্রদায়ের মতামত পর্যালোচনা ও প্রয়োজনীয় পরিবর্তন আনয়নে স্বেচ্ছাসেবার ভিত্তিতে পরিচালিত পর্যালোচনা কমিটি কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেছে। মূল নথির প্রশিক্ষণ ও সম্মতি, প্রক্রিয়ায় ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তা ও স্বচ্ছতা এবং পঠনযোগ্যতা ও অনুবাদযোগ্যতার মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশগুলোতে তাঁরা প্রয়োজনীয় হালনাগাদ করেছেন।

কীভাবে ভোট প্রদান করবো?
১৭ জানুয়ারি, ২০২৩ থেকে ভোটগ্রহণ শুরু হবে। সিকিওরপোল ব্যবহার করে কীভাবে ভোটপ্রদান করা যাবে, তার বিস্তারিত তথ্য মেটা উইকির এই পাতায় পাওয়া যাবে।
কারা ভোটপ্রদান করতে পারবেন?
এই নির্বাচনের যোগ্যতার মানদন্ড উইকিমিডিয়া ট্রাস্টি বোর্ড নির্বাচনের অনুরূপ। ভোটার হবার যোগ্যতা সম্পর্কিত তথ্যের জন্য ভোটার তথ্য পাতা দেখুন। যোগ্য ভোটার হতে থাকলে, আপনি আপনার আপনার উইকিমিডিয়া অ্যাকাউন্ট ব্যবহার করে ভোটিং সার্ভারে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন।
নির্বাচন পরবর্তী কার্যক্রম কী?
একটি স্বাধীন স্বেচ্ছাসেবী দল কর্তৃক ভোট যাচাই করা হবে এবং উইকিমিডিয়া-এল (মেইলিং লিস্ট), মুভমেন্ট স্ট্রাটেজি ফোরাম, ডিফ ও মেটা উইকিতে নির্বাচনের ফলাফল প্রকাশ করা হবে। ভোটাররা আবারও ভোটদান ও নির্দেশিকা সংক্রান্ত তাঁদের মতামত প্রদান করতে পারবেন। প্রয়োগ নির্দেশিকা কীভাবে অনুসমর্থন ও অধিকতর উন্নয়ন করা যায়, সে বিষয়ে বোর্ড অব ট্রাস্টিজ বিবেচনা করবে এবং কী ধরণের সহায়তা তাঁরা প্রদান করবেন ও কী ধরণের মতামত উত্থাপিত হবে, সেগুলো সবই তাঁরা বিবেচনায় রাখবেন।

প্রিয় সবাই,
উইকিমিডিয়া ফাউন্ডেশন আইন বিভাগ উইকিমিডিয়া ব্যবহারের শর্তাবলী হালনাগাদ করার বিষয়ে সম্প্রদায়ের সদস্যদের সাথে প্রতিক্রিয়া পরামর্শের আয়োজন করছে।
ব্যবহারের শর্তাবলী (ToU) হল আইনী শর্ত যা উইকিমিডিয়া ফাউন্ডেশন দ্বারা হোস্ট করা ওয়েবসাইটের ব্যবহার নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে। আইন বিভাগ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে এপ্রিল পর্যন্ত একটি খসড়া প্রস্তাবের উপর সম্প্রদায়ের মতামত সংগ্রহ করবে। খসড়াটি বেশ কয়েকটি ভাষায় অনুবাদ করা হবে এবং যেকোনো ভাষায় মতামত গ্রহণ করা হবে।
এই হালনাগাদটি কয়েকটি জিনিস সম্পর্কে:
- সার্বজনীন আচরণবিধি বাস্তবায়ন;
- Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 লাইসেন্স-এ প্রকল্পের পাঠ্য হালনাগাদ করা হচ্ছে;

This newsletter includes two key updates about the Editing team's work:
- The Editing team will finish adding new features to the Talk pages project and deploy it.
- They are beginning a new project, Edit check.
Talk pages project
The Editing team is nearly finished with this first phase of the Talk pages project. Nearly all new features are available now in the Beta Feature for আলোচনা সরঞ্জাম.
It will show information about how active a discussion is, such as the date of the most recent comment. There will soon be a new "আলোচনা যোগ করুন" button. You will be able to turn them off at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing-discussion. Please tell them what you think.
An A/B test for আলোচনা সরঞ্জাম on the mobile site has finished. Editors were more successful with আলোচনা সরঞ্জাম. The Editing team is enabling these features for all editors on the mobile site.
New Project: Edit Check
The Editing team is beginning a project to help new editors of Wikipedia. It will help people identify some problems before they click "পরিবর্তন প্রকাশ করুন". The first tool will encourage people to add references when they add new content. Please watch that page for more information. You can join a conference call on 3 March 2023 to learn more.
